Cyanotype Beyond Paper

A 2-Day Extensive Cyanotype Workshop

Discover one of photography's oldest printing processes and explore how it can move beyond the traditional sheet of paper. Over two days at the CPB Community Darkroom, participants will learn the fundamentals of Cyanotype while experimenting with paper, glass and fabric as photographic surfaces.

Beginning with the history and chemistry of Cyanotype, participants will learn how to prepare digital negatives, mix and coat their own chemistry, create prints by hand, and understand the complete exposure and development workflow. The workshop then expands beyond paper, introducing participants to Cyanotype on glass and fabric, alongside toning techniques, finishing methods and creative approaches to displaying completed works.

Designed for photographers, artists, designers, printmakers and curious beginners, this workshop encourages experimentation and hands-on making. Participants will create multiple Cyanotype prints throughout the workshop and leave with finished works on paper, glass and fabric.

No prior experience is required. To help you get the most out of the workshop, we ask each participant to submit three images before the workshop begins. These images will be converted into digital negatives and used throughout the workshop for printing on paper, glass and fabric. All materials, chemistry, paper, fabric, glass and equipment will be provided by the CPB Community Darkroom.

The workshop involves the careful handling of photographic chemistry (gloves will be provided). We welcome participants above the age of 12.

Quality for your money.
Color: Apricot, Size: 16 Inch
I am beyond pleased. Everything works well. I was just think yesterday after looking at it that i will have this bag long because it strong like keep for years strong, no joke. It is worth it. Easy to use, the space is enough for a University Student like me, and it adjsut well but I'm guessing it's manufacturing problem as one starp is longer than the other and feels funny at time but I work around it and adjust to my comfort.

Perfect backpack for work and daily use
Color: Apricot, Size: 16 Inch
The backpack has a clean, professional look and the material feels sturdy and smooth. The size is perfect for a 16-inch laptop, with good padding and comfortable straps. I use it daily for work, and everything fits well inside, including my laptop, charger, and a few essentials. It stays organized without feeling bulky and is very comfortable to carry

Perfect. A must have!
Size: XX-Large, Color: Nude
Perfect fit! After 2 battles with breast cancer and breast reconstruction I find it very difficult to find strapless or any bra for that matter that fit and are comfortable … this bra not only fits it stays put! I have purchased some pricey ones in the past but this gives a lot of bang for your buck. I also love the fact it stays in place- has rubber like adhesive that sticks to your skin and has no wires. I feel mangled after basically being amputated by a double mastectomy- I worry about the bra falling down exposing the fact I have no “nips” because cancer took all that away from me. Additionally, I like that it comes with removable straps for adjustability for extra support if needed. The quality seems to be good but I have yet to wash, just like any bra - gentle cycle wash and a flat air dry will extend the life of the bra.

Doesn't slip down
Size: XX-Large, Color: Black
Holds up very well for day to day work and doesn't slip down. Came with straps as well. Material feels great. I would base sizing off of your usual band size more than cup. Got a XXL when measured I'm usually a 38B or 36C and those sizes are too small to be comfortable and it said I'd match with a large so I went up based upon my bra experiences. Pink color isn't really a good pink tone more closer to nude and dull if anything. But all the other styles and colors are great. It feels very supportive and covers all the right places while smoothing out back rolls. It's a good stretch when you put it on to and then conforms to the chest. Pads are a little over the place but they're removable so that's expected.
