Louroe ASK-4 #302 Audio Monitoring System

The ASK-4 #302 Audio Monitoring System from Louroe Electronics is a two-zone audio monitoring system that comes with an IF-2 audio interface adapter and two Verifact A microphones.

The IF-2 is designed for connecting up to two Louroe microphones to a DVR or other recording devices that have multiple audio inputs. It features RCA outputs (per microphone) for accommodating either an RCA input or a 3.5mm (mini jack) input connection to a DVR, an IP network camera, or a video server using the connector cables included. The IF-2 provides phantom power to the included Louroe microphones and contains a variable gain adjust per output to prevent overdriving of the DVR.

Each Verifact A microphone is an omnidirectional, low-impedance, electret condenser microphone with a built-in preamp for producing line level audio. The microphone is housed in a high-impact ABS dome designed for ceiling or wall-mounting. The microphones have a range of approximately 15' in all directions.

Note: Wiring Requirements: 2 Conductor shielded cable, 22 gauge with a 24 gauge drain wire. Unshielded cables are not suitable for audio systems.
When this equipment is used as part of an audio monitoring system, the law requires that the public be given notice of AUDIO MONITORING ON THE PREMISES. A decal notice is included with each microphone shipped.

• 2-Channel Audio Interface Adapter

  The 2-Channel Audio Interface Adapter from Louroe Electronics is a 2-zone interface unit that can connect up to 2 Louroe microphones to a DVR or any other recording device with line level inputs. This interface adapter features an RCA and a 3.5mm (mini jack) stereo output. This dual output functionality facilitates flexibility of connectivity, and enables you to send the audio signals from the microphones to devices with RCA or 3.5mm inputs.
  The interface adapter's audio level control potentiometer allows you to vary the audio gain, as per your requirements, to prevent overdriving or underdriving of the audio signals. The included audio test switch notifies the end user that audio signals are being delivered to the audio recording device. With an LED bulb, the test switch indicates whenever an audio signal is detected.

• Verifact A Microphone

  The Verifact A Microphone from Louroe Electronics is an omni-directional, electret condenser microphone that is designed for ceiling or wall mounting.

  Housed in a high-impact ABS dome, this low-impedance microphone can pick-up sounds from within a coverage area of approximately 15' (4.57m). It comes with a built-in preamp with a sensitivity switch for lowering gain, and is suitable for use in convenience stores, warehouses, booking rooms, interrogation rooms, hospital observation rooms, parking structures, casino soft count, or anywhere CCTV cameras are installed.

  Note: When this equipment is used as part of an audio monitoring system, the law requires that the public be given notice of AUDIO MONITORING ON THE PREMISES. A decal notice is included with each microphone. This disclaimer must be affixed, in plain view, at all entrances to the premises where the microphones are installed.
