Named Melissa — the Greek word for honeybee — this beloved mint family member has attracted both pollinators and herbalists for over 2,000 years. Its bright, lemony fragrance and gentle flavour make it as welcome in the kitchen as in the apothecary, equally at home flavouring a homemade soda or steeping into a quiet evening cup.

Traditionally used in herbal medicine to help relieve restlessness and nervousness, and to ease mild digestive disturbances such as bloating and upset stomach. The kind of herb that gently invites your nervous system to soften — without sedating it.

Rich in rosmarinic acid and other aromatic compounds, lemon balm has been a cornerstone of European herbal tradition for centuries, often paired with other calming herbs for an evening wind-down ritual.

How to use: Add 1–3 tbsp of dried leaf per cup of hot water. Steep covered for 3–10 minutes and strain. Also lovely cold-steeped in water, blended into homemade sodas, or combined with other herbs for a custom tea blend.

Ingredients: Organic lemon balm (Melissa officinalis)

Caution: Contraindicated with anti-anxiety medications. Large doses may inhibit thyroid production in some people.

My new Favourite Summer Tank Top - padded cup (no shelf bra!)

Cutest tank top, my new summer go-to. I was looking and searching high and low for a tank top which had padded cups without the shelf bra. Shelf bras are so uncomfortable with their elastic bands and are even worse in the summer, sweaty sun. I wanted something breathable, movable, and with just a bit of padding to cover the nipples and add the slightest big of shape. If you are large breasted these built in cups might not be the best for you, but as a smaller breasted lady these are perfect. The cups are not over the top bulky, but also they are not meant to really add "support" (for those who are looking for support this wouldn't be the tank for you. Think lightly padded!) The material is super soft and the length comes down to the hips. The tank doesn't ride up, so you're not always having to pull them down and adjust, and so you could wear them for both workouts or for casual summer evenings. I bought size XS and I am 5'1, 97 lbs. I was wondering if I should go to a size S because it wasn't clear by some of the reviews, but I'm glad I bought the XS because the shoulder strap is also the perfect length (not too baggy but also not super tight). Read the sizing chart before you buy - they are true to the size indicated on the sizing chart. Some have said theirs didn't come with padding, or the stitching was poor, but the ones I've received are totally fine. This tank is just plain-old comfortable any way you look at it. I'll be buying more colours!

These are NOT “workout” tanks offering support. They have a removable cup sewn into the front of the shirt, similar to a bathing suit. If you have small (or gloriously high) boobs and want a shirt to hide your nipples, this is great. If you want something to actually give support, this is NOT it. There is no band to provide support. So if you have large or low breasts, don’t even try. You’ll have to wear a bra with it unless you want your boobs hanging below the sewn in cups. That being said, the material is great. It’s nice and thick with lots of stretch. The cut is also adorable. And I LOVE all the colors. I wish it just had a supportive band!
