The 6700 series sub-miniature Bimetallic Thermostat with positive snap action, single pole/single throw, provides accurate and reliable sensing and switching in a single device. The 6700 provides fast, positive response with excellent repeatability. The thermostat has a switch capability of up to 0.5A for 48VDC and achieves low-level switching down to 0.001A to 0.020A at 5VDC for 100,000 cycles. Temperature is pre-set at the factory and is non-adjustable in the field. Thermal conductivity is mainly through the terminals and the mounting bracket making the unit ideal for both surface mount and ambient air sensing. The nickel-plated copper mounting bracket comes standard or you can utilize the laminated plastic mounting bracket for increased dielectric strength and VDE approval. Primarily developed for thermal management applications on power supplies, the Airpax� 6700 series is also ideally suited for use on crowded PC boards.

A Great Filter (Installed on a 2014 Acura RDX)
I installed this on a 2015 Acura RDX and it has been a fine replacement for the original air filter. The filter offers a good value and resembles the filter that it replaced and seems to be an equivalent replacement in every way. It fit into the housing perfectly and was just as easy to replace as the original filter was. The white color of the filter also makes it easy to see if an excess of dirt has built up on the filter.
I'd recommend this filter. The materials are good, it offers equivalent functionality, and great value for the money.

Excellent quality and price
The picture above is of two different brand engine air filters. One is a Fram Extra Guard and the other is the KAX filter, which costs half as much. Can you tell which one is the cheaper KAX filter? There may be a difference in material that is not visible, but they feel and look the same. It seems like a safe bet to try out the KAX and see how well it performs/lasts.

Just Right
Fits just right. The paper filter material seems to be the same quality as the brand name filter I took out with the only percievable difference is price and packaging. One nice thing here is that once taken out of the box, the filter is wrapped in light weight plastic so you don't get the new filter dirty when taking out the old one. Just unwrap it prior to installation for a clean install. Hope this helps.

Same Quality, Cheaper Price!
Fits exactly as it should (2018 Acura RDX) and performs as well as any other brand I've used over the years. Construction and material quality appear as good as (or better) than any other off-the-shelf brand. I have no qualms about using this brand in the future and saving money doing so, compared to other brands.
