JOWL 7/8 SPLIT SHACKLE

Say goodbye to the hassle of removing shackles from your bumper or hitch receiver – with our shackle, you can make connections and hook up ropes or straps on the fly, making tool-less closed recoveries a breeze on the trail or in challenging environments.
THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!
Just open up the Jowl shackle hooked sides, insert your recovery rope or tow strap looped end, rotate the end of the tow rope or strap to engage both sides of the shackle, pull tight and you are ready to recover your stuck vehicle.
We designed the Jowl with a D-Ring shackle shape for those off-roaders who prefer a more traditional shackle look on their rigs. Built-in pull angle stops are visual reminders that give you feedback to help you keep your pull angles low keeping your recovery safe and as efficient as possible.
The Jowl 7/8 Recovery Shackle fits any 2.5 inch Class V shackle receiver hitch bracket mount with a 1 inch (1.0") pin hole and a mount width of 1.49 inches or less.
All color options are fully interchangeable. Buy two different color shackles and combine the two symmetrical hook halves to match the color scheme of your rig and give your build a more custom accented look. The hooked sides are fully covered with a durable powder coating pantone color matched to popular truck and Jeep colors. The shackle pin is Black Nickel plated and machined from High Strength Grade 8 Carbon Steel.
This 6.5T (13,000 LB WLL) forged chromoly steel shackle is guaranteed to speed up vehicle recovery so you can spend more time enjoying the trail instead of being stuck in it.
Built-in rubber anti-chatter pads stop the hooked sides from rattling against each other as you navigate the roughest trails.
Each shackle includes six durable nylon shackle isolators. Two 3.0mm thick washers, two 2.0mm thick washers and two 1.0mm thick washers help you center your Jowl shackle on any width bumper shackle mount, gusset, wench rope, or shackle receiver.
We made mounting the Jowl easy. The shackle pin is secured by two Metric M22 cap screws that accept any 3/8" socket wrench. Just grab two 3/8 inch ratchets and easily remove or attach the shackle to your vehicle without the need to find the correct allen keys or hex wrenches out on the trail. (Bonus: only one screw needs to be removed to attach or remove the shackle from your vehicle adding to the speed and functionality of this design.) Two 6mm Hex to 3/8" square drive adapters are also included with each Jowl split shackle for easy installation.
Mohawk Receiver 2.5 - Black Lung
Big Truck owners can now hang their 7/8 tow shackle from our new versatile Large Truck Mohawk 2.5 shackle hitch mount.
The Mohawk 2.5 is warm forged using 6082 aluminum with the grain flow orientated to maximize the strength of your connection point providing a work load limit of 18,000 pounds. This higher quality and higher cost 6082 aluminum also has better mechanical properties and better corrosion resistance compared to 6061.
Two 5/8 inch hitch pin holes allow for two receiver mounting positions increasing compatibility with any 2.5 inch hitch package. The third 5/8 inch hitch pin hole allows you to rotate the receiver 90 degrees for recovery and towing versatility.
Most shackle receivers have sharp edges at the connection point which often tear soft shackles, synthetic ropes, tree savers and strap looped ends. The Mohawk 2.5 main mounting hole has a very large radius on the outer edges to reduce abrasion and increase the life of your recovery gear making this ideal for use with any closed loop recovery set up. The spined outer perimeter adds more material where you need it most and gives the Mohawk its aggressive and unique identity.

The "Raw Dog" uncoated option is ready to add primer and paint or powder coating so you can color match your vehicle or just add any finish of your choosing. Only the Jowl hooked bodies should be powder coated, not the pin. Coating the pin will hinder the assembly functionality. (***Please note: this option will show signs of weathering and rust if left uncoated.)

The most engaging interactive toy for my Border Collie

My Border Collie is not a big ball player. He prefers tug type games and actually gives me a look like, “Are you stupid? I’m not going to keep bringing that to you if all you’re going to do is throw it away again!” after about the third time I throw a ball for him to fetch. However, I can only play tug so often and I need him to be entertained and engaged as much as possible.
I got him a smaller, non-padded ball like this hoping he would like the interactive aspect of it. He did- he actually loved it! But it was loud, hard on his teeth, would come apart periodically, and he kept hitting the off button when playing with it. It drove me crazy. This one is so much better overall! The soft outer shell is not only easier on his teeth, but it is super resilient to biting and chewing. He actually likes to carry this thing around in his mouth while it’s bouncing and vibrating.
The three modes give great flexibility for different kinds of play. His favorite is the most active mode: the ball reacts to touch and practically bounces itself across the floor when he touches it with his paw or mouth. I will point out that in one of the modes, I thought the battery wasn’t charged or there was a motor issue because it’s very subdued movement; however, it’s just set up as a low-key option. Be sure to check out each mode to see which works best for your dog at different times.
I can’t say enough about this ball- I have been so pleasantly surprised by how much he loves it. The rechargeable feature is super convenient, it’s big enough to not get stuck under the couch, and it automatically shuts off based on whichever mode it’s set on. As the owner of a busy, super-smart dog who needs to be engaged in mental and physical activity, I think this all is worth every penny. In fact, I’m buying one for a friend who has a Border Collie pup with lots of energy to burn! I highly recommend this toy- it’s the most engaging toy I’ve found that Finn will play with on his own.

Not as Smart or Interactive as You Think it Will Be

This is an honest review from a schnauzer owner who has has wanted this cheerble ball for their dog for more than one year. I finally bougI finally bought this toy and both me and my dog are disappointed. The settings are...i would say dog friendly as I'd assumed a dog ball would be. What I mean by that is, for example: the calm play setting is muuch too calm. Super light puffs of energy, like a battery is dying. And the playful setting is scary, alarmingly so. The intervals in between are too long. The ball does not bounce. So they just have settings all wrong. The size is good for a large dog only. Do not buy if you have a small to medium dog. I even think the material is okay. I've only had it for a few days so I can't even speak to how the material holds up. Really hoping to love this ball for my dog. It was not the distraction I was hoping it would be so I could work from home while my dog had fun. I'm hoping this can help someone else who's been pining over it. Essentially, it's a $35-$50 well made weighted ball that moves occasionally.

Perfect Size for Tiny Dogs

Excellent size for tiny dogs who can only manage the tiny tennis balls. The launcher is easy to use, even for my 8 year old. It’s pretty much revolutionized ball time for the dogs and the kids - they actually like taking him out to play fetch now. It’s super light but still lets you toss the balls a lot farther than just throwing it. Great value for your money and it’s helps strong for weeks of repeated used, super durable.

Great for small dog fetch

We love this for keeping our hands clean and saving our shoulders while playing fetch. Not sure why this size is so incredibly difficult to find (not in any stores in our area). It fits both the small rubber and tennis ball types. We have a 15lb rat terrier, and he loves it.
