Ludwig Hohlwein (27. Juli 1874 in Wiesbaden - 15. September 1949 in Berchtesgaden) war ein deutscher Plakatkünstler, ein Pionier des Sachplakatstils. Er lernte und praktizierte als Architekt in München bis 1911, als er nach Berlin zog und zur Plakatgestaltung wechselte.
Hohlwein wurde im Rhein-Main-Gebiet geboren, obwohl er und sein Werk mit München und Bayern in Süddeutschland in Verbindung gebracht werden. In Deutschland gab es zu dieser Zeit zwei Schulen der Gebrauchsgrafik: Nord und Süd. Hohlweins hohe Tonwertkontraste und ein Netz ineinandergreifender Formen machten sein Werk sofort erkennbar.

It is almost great.

It is a nice sponge holder but the tray is not wide enough and it falls. Because it was the only one I found with a spout, I am keeping it, and figured a way to stick it so the tray doesn't fall. The other thing is that the tray is not sunken enough in the middle for all the water to be routed there, and the spout doesn't always get rid of all the water inside, so once in a few days, I have to manually press it down and more water comes out. The dishcloth rack is not great for cloths, they get wet. Other than that, it looks very nice, it is aesthetic, big enough for all my kitchen stuff, and makes my kitchen neater, so I like it.
