Der ganz neue Mach1 MV 110 TD ist der ideale Schuh für Fortgeschrittene wie auch Könner mit durchschnittlich großen Füßen, die einen leistungsstarken Schuh mit nicht ganz so hohem Flex bevorzugen. Mach1 steht für höchste All-Mountain-Leistung und garantiert präzise Passform, maximale individuelle Anpassung und direkte Kraftübertragung auf den Ski. In diesem Jahr haben wir den 110er Flex erstmalig mit T-Drive-Technologie kombiniert. Das heißt, durch eine Verbindung des Schaftabschlusses mit der Schale werden die Stabilität und Leistungsfähigkeit des Schuhs bei den unterschiedlichsten Temperaturen grundlegend verbessert, was ein längeres und ermüdungsfreieres Fahren erlaubt. Dank der jetzt noch anatomischer geformten Innenschuhe und Schalen bietet dieser Schuh schon bei der ersten Anprobe eine bequeme Passform. Bei Bedarf kann die Passform mit dem C.A.S.-System von Tecnica noch weiter an die Fußform angepasst werden. Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful

This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . )
I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
