Er wird seitlich am Hobel angebracht und gewährleistet eine exakte Führung, insbesondere bei Arbeiten im Kantenbereich. Dadurch wird ein seitliches Abdriften der Hobelmaschine zuverlässig verhindert. Dank der stufenlosen Einstellung der Falzbreite lässt sich der Parallelanschlag bequem an verschiedene Anforderungen anpassen.
