Was ist der PreWash express „Pe“ von Koch-Chemie? Ein hochalkalisches Vorreiniger-Konzentrat für Aufbereiter und getaktete Waschanlagen. Es bricht eingetrocknete Insekten, Vogelkot und Winter-Streusalz in unter einer Minute chemisch auf, bevor ein Waschtuch den Lack berührt. PreWash express „Pe“ von Koch-Chemie aus Unna ist ein hochalkalischer Vorreiniger Auto in kompromissloser Form — die erste Stufe der berührungslosen Wäsche. Das hochkonzentrierte, phosphatfreie Mittel kombiniert moderne Komplexbildner mit Spezial-Tensiden und löst organischen Schmutz wie Insekteneiweiß, Straßenfilm und Fett durch Verseifung und Proteolyse an. Die Lauge spaltet die Bindungen im Schmutz, er wird wasserlöslich und läuft beim Abspülen ab, statt unter dem Tuch über den Klarlack zu schmirgeln.

  • Der Schmutz fällt, bevor das erste Tuch kommt. „Pe“ weicht Insekten, Vogelkot und Verkehrsfilm in maximal einer Minute so weit auf, dass der Hochdruckstrahl sie abträgt. Jedes Korn, das so berührungslos verschwindet, kann hinterher keinen Kratzer mehr in den Lack ziehen. Genau das ist der Sinn jeder Vorwäsche.
  • Ein Konzentrat für drei Aufgaben. Je nach Verschmutzung mischst du 1:30 bis 1:100 für die Lack-Vorwäsche, 1:4 bis 1:20 für Felgen und 1:2 bis 1:15 für Waschhallenböden und -wände. Ein 23-kg-Kanister ergibt so bis zu rund 2.300 Liter gebrauchsfertige Lösung. Die Komplexbildner fangen dabei Kalk und Metallionen im Wasser ab, sodass auch hartes Leitungswasser die Reinigungskraft nicht bremst.
  • Phosphatfrei, schaumarm, anlagenfreundlich. „Pe“ ist VDA-konform der Klasse B, dem Norm-Rahmen für kurze Kontaktzeiten in Waschanlagen: höchstens eine Minute, maximal 1:100. Es ist für biologische Brauchwasseraufbereitung geeignet, und der bewusst geringe Schaum verkürzt den Spülgang. Genau dieses Profil brauchen Express-Waschanlagen.

Praxistipp von Detailing1: Der teuerste Fehler mit einem hochalkalischen Vorreiniger ist das Auftragen in der Sonne oder auf warmem Lack. Das Wasser verdunstet in Sekunden, das Konzentrat brennt sich als milchiger Schleier in den Klarlack — den bekommst du nur mit der Poliermaschine wieder raus. Arbeite im Schatten und auf handkühler Oberfläche, lieber zwei kurze Durchgänge als eine lange Einwirkzeit. Aus unserer Praxis: Wer einmal eine schwarze Stoßstange so geätzt hat, vergisst die Regel nie.


Kühl ansetzen, kurz wirken, gründlich abspülen

Den Vorreiniger fürs Auto immer verdünnt und auf die kühle, nicht aufgeheizte Karosserie auftragen, von unten nach oben arbeiten und nach höchstens einer Minute mit dem Hochdruckreiniger restlos abspülen. So bleibt die Reaktion im sicheren Bereich.

Warum überhaupt vorreinigen? Der grobe Schmutz nach der Fahrt — Quarzstaub, Insektenpanzer, Salzkristalle — wirkt beim Waschen wie Schmirgelpapier. Ein Vorreiniger Auto zerlegt diese Partikel durch Proteolyse und Verseifung: Eiweiß und Fett verlieren ihre Haftung, der Hochdruckstrahl trägt sie ab, bevor Schwamm oder Bürste die Fläche berühren.

Wie scharf du ansetzt, hängt vom Gerät ab. Im Pumpsprüher, etwa einem IK-Drucksprüher, trifft die angemischte Konzentration unverdünnt auf den Lack — hier mischst du bewusst dünner und dosierst exakt.

In der Schaumlanze ist es umgekehrt: Der Wasserstrom des Hochdruckreinigers verdünnt die Flaschenmischung noch einmal kräftig nach, grob um das Zehnfache. Wer über die Lanze auf saubere 1:100 am Lack kommen will, setzt die Flasche deshalb schon bei rund 1:10 an. Am Ende zählt nur, was wirklich auf dem Lack ankommt — diese Rechnung verwechseln viele und tragen versehentlich zu scharf auf.

Die drei Verdünnungsfenster sind kein Zufall, sondern Arbeitsbereiche: 1:30 bis 1:100 für die Lack-Vorwäsche am PKW, 1:4 bis 1:20 für lose Felgenverschmutzung und Bremsstaub auf alkalienfesten Felgen, 1:2 bis 1:15 für Algen, Ölfilm und Biofilm auf Hallenböden. Je heikler die Oberfläche, desto dünner die Mischung und desto genauer der Blick auf die Uhr.

Von unten nach oben verhindert, dass ablaufendes Konzentrat auf trockenen Flächen Schlieren zieht. Bei starkem Befall, etwa verkrusteten Insekten nach der Autobahn oder einer dicken Salzschicht im Februar, bringt ein zweiter kurzer Durchgang mehr als langes Stehenlassen. Antrocknen ist tabu: Ein angetrockneter alkalischer Film ist genau das, was hinterher die Flecken macht.

Eloxal und blankes Aluminium bleiben tabu

Freigegeben ist „Pe“ für intakten Klarlack, Stahlfelgen und alkalienbeständig lackierte Alufelgen, nicht für eloxiertes Aluminium, blankes Metall oder spiegelpolierte Räder. Diese Grenze ist keine Förmlichkeit, sondern Chemie.

Eloxal ist die seidenmatte, elektrochemisch verdichtete Schutzschicht auf vielen Zierleisten, Fensterrahmen und Dachrelings von Premium-Fahrzeugen. Aluminium ist amphoter, es löst sich in starken Laugen genauso wie in Säuren. Trifft „Pe“ zu konzentriert oder zu lange auf eine solche Leiste, frisst die Lauge die Schicht an und hinterlässt milchig-weiße, irisierende Flecken. Die lassen sich nicht wegpolieren, die Leiste muss getauscht werden. Auf blankem oder poliertem Alu reagiert das Metall sofort und blendet matt aus.

Auf intaktem Klarlack ist „Pe“ dagegen sicher, solange die Minute steht. Moderne Klarlacke sind hochvernetzte Kunststoffe, die eine kurze alkalische Spitze problemlos wegstecken; durch die Verdünnung auf 1:100 sinkt der wirksame pH auf dem Lack ohnehin in den Bereich um 11 bis 12. Stahlfelgen und pulverbeschichtete, alkalienfeste Alufelgen vertragen die schärfere Felgendosierung — entscheidend ist allein, dass das Rad nicht blank, eloxiert oder spiegelpoliert ist.

Die zweite harte Grenze betrifft Hitze. Auf einer sonnenwarmen Motorhaube verdampft das Wasser der Lösung in Sekunden, die Lauge konzentriert sich örtlich wieder auf und ätzt den Klarlack an. Zurück bleiben eingebrannte Tropfenränder, die nur eine Maschinenpolitur entfernt. Deshalb gilt: nie in der prallen Sonne, nie auf heißem Blech.

Und „Pe“ unterscheidet nicht zwischen Schmutz und Schutzschicht. Ein Mittel mit pH um 13 wirkt so basisch wie ein Rohrreiniger und strippt Wachse, Sealants und schwächere Beschichtungen restlos ab. Genau deshalb ist es kein Pflegemittel. Wer sein gewachstes oder keramikversiegeltes Fahrzeug schonend wäscht, bleibt beim pH-neutralen Autoshampoo; „Pe“ würde die Versiegelung gleich mit abräumen.

Für getaktete Wäsche, nicht fürs Wochenende

„Pe“ spielt seine Stärke dort aus, wo Tempo zählt: in Express-Waschanlagen, bei Fuhrparks, Nutzfahrzeugen und stark verschmutzten Fahrzeugen, nicht bei der ruhigen Wochenend-Pflege in der Einfahrt.

In der Waschstraße ist die kurze, kompromisslose Wirkung ein Vorteil: Die Anlage dosiert maschinell exakt, taktet schnell und spült dank des geringen Schaums zügig durch. Für den Detailer von Hand ist genau das die Hürde. Die VDA-Minute ist schnell überschritten, wenn man einen großen SUV mit dem Pumpsprüher einmal komplett umrundet — beim Zurückkommen steht das Konzentrat am Startpunkt längst zu lange. Deshalb arbeitet man „Pe“ abschnittsweise: eine Seite einsprühen, abspülen, dann die nächste.

Aufbereiter setzen „Pe“ daher gezielt als Schmutz-Brecher ein, nicht als Allzweckmittel: für vernachlässigte Gebrauchtwagen, Winter-Salzkrusten, Motorräume oder als Entwachsung vor einer Politur und Neuversiegelung. Innerhalb der Koch-Chemie-Reiniger ist es die oberste Energiestufe. Wer den klassischen, stärker schäumenden Vorreiniger für längere Einwirkzeiten sucht, ist beim Schwesterprodukt Vorreiniger B besser aufgehoben; „Pe“ ist die schaumarme, auf Express-Anlagen getrimmte Variante in der Vorreiniger-Reihe.

Wirtschaftlich rechnet sich das vor allem im Mengengeschäft. Ein 23-kg-Kanister ergibt bei 1:100 rund 2.300 Liter fertige Vorwäsche-Lösung — genug für hunderte Fahrzeuge. Auf die einzelne Wäsche heruntergerechnet fällt der Produktanteil damit kaum ins Gewicht; der Hebel liegt in der Zeit, die die kurze Einwirkphase pro Auto spart. Für wenige Fahrzeuge im Monat reicht das 5-kg-Gebinde dagegen lange, ohne dass Konzentrat ungenutzt altert.

Die Gebindegrößen folgen dieser Logik: 5 kg für den Einstieg und kleinere Betriebe, 23 kg als Standard-Kanister für die laufende Anlage, 225 kg im Fass für Hochfrequenz-Waschstraßen mit automatischer Dosierung. Der eine Punkt, den kein Etikett betont: Die maximale Einwirkzeit ist keine Empfehlung, sondern die Sicherheitsgrenze. „Pe“ ist für die Maschine gebaut, die in 60 Sekunden durch ist. Wer das von Hand respektiert und in Abschnitten arbeitet, bekommt die volle Schmutzlösekraft, ohne je eine Zierleiste zu riskieren.

Only my second first person written selection, I am still getting used to that aspect, but unlike my first, I enjoyed that the story was told through both MCs. A great enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fated love etc, that resonated to me. There were some small twists that I could see coming, but also a few that I didn’t quite see until the characters were also seeing. Personally, I am more interested in the story than the spice, but with that said, it was well seasoned! I am kind of new to the spice world so I can’t say for sure how this would rate, but it definitely had some heat. I am very glad I happened across this author, and I do plan on also reading the next book….if nothing else, just to see for myself the “transformation” of the characters I’ve grown to love!

I’m having trouble finding accurate words to describe the way this book made me feel, but I am going to do my best. To start off with basic elements, the character and world building are phenomenal. I feel a strong bond to not only the two main characters, Ara and Rogue, but to each and every character introduced throughout the book. The author did a stellar job of giving each of them unique personhood. All of the scenes are beautifully described. So much so that throughout the entirety of the book, I could see every scene: the towns, the castles, the meadows, the landscape. I have had difficulty with this and with distinguishing between outlying characters while reading in the past, but I did not have to think to remember details of world or character building because they flowed naturally within the story and were described well. I have read book series before that made me want to be a part of that world, but I actually felt like I got to step into Auryna and Ravaryn! The plot twists!! Although this is not a suspense novel, it still had me on a rollercoaster of emotions and on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I haven’t cried actual tears over a book since I was in high school (and I’ve read a LOT). This book finally broke the floodgates in the final few chapters. Multiple times. And we love a good cliffhanger. It truly made me FEEL. THE SPICE is a solid 3.5/5. Some of the scenes had me flushed, some had me taking notes, some just had my jaw slack and my mouth hanging open. Bravo, JD Linton, bravo. The relationships: friendships, family, romantic, ALL of the relationships in this book have so much meaning. The author does a great job at making you feel the love, the anger, the peace, the frustrations, the safety, the familiarity, etc. between the characters. Ara and Rogue. I can not say enough and I also do not want to say too much. Just know that I feel like I know them both, to their core. I know what their childhood looks likes, their darkest moments, their biggest fears, their dreams and passions, what they want in life… The POV switches were seamless. I am so happy this author decided to let us see from both sets of eyes. I can not wait for book two after that cliffhanger. And there is SO much potential for at least one prequel, I can’t wait to see where this author goes! I hope this series continues and flourishes. Fingers crossed!

This book was phenomenal, I devoured it within a few days! For this being a debut novel, it is fantastic and I would’ve thought the author was a seasoned author. I have zero complaints about this book. Let me start by saying that the world building was phenomenal. I could picture everything in my head because of how detailed it was — that’s how good it was written. And I absolutely love the “captive/captor” trope so much, it’s become one of my favorite tropes, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that this book had that. I loved the banter between Rogue and Ara — they’re both snarky and witty, plus with the romantic tension, it made the dialogue that much better. Speaking of romantic tension, yes there is spice but not so much of it that it overrides the plot, which I loved. For me, this would probably be on the 3/5 level of spice. This book had a ton of plot twists and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
