Hans-Christian Schinks Serie 1 h nützt den Effekt der so genannten »echten Solarisation«. Negativfilm ist nur bis zu einem bestimmten Punkt belichtungsfähig, setzt man danach die Belichtung weiter fort, kehrt sich der fotochemische Prozess um, und die im Negativ dunkelsten Punkte werden wieder heller. Bereits 1857 wurde dieser spezielle Prozess der Überbelichtung erstmals vom Foto-Pionier William Henry Jackson beschrieben; für Hans-Christian Schink wurde das Bild Black Sun von Minor White aus dem Jahr 1955 zur Inspirationsquelle. In 1 h setzt er die echte Solarisation gezielt und mit extrem langer Belichtungszeit ein. Im Ergebnis erscheint die Sonne durch die Erdbewegung als schwarzer Strich am Himmel. Cute and Sturdy Cat Scratcher

Very nice scratcher that is reasonably priced. Was very easy to put together...literally took me less than 5 minutes. The base is nicely weighted, so no worries about my x-large kitties knocking it over. Well made, study and it's so cute. It's a nice size also. My cats love it. Happy I bought this item and a bargain at the price I paid!

Good value for price
Size: Medium - 25.6" H
Easy to put together, aesthetically pleasing. It is relatively sturdy for a cat scratcher. Kat does not seem super interested in this one and we have several others that he is so I’m not sure what happened there.
