Quadratmeterweise leere Zahnpastatuben, Stifte, Wollknäuel, Schuhe oder Reinigerflaschen – alles fein säuberlich aufgereiht: Waste Not, die spektakuläre Installation von Song Dong (*1966 in Beijing) aus über 10 000 Einzelteilen, reiste um die ganze Welt und begeisterte zahllose Ausstellungsbesucher. Die Mutter des Künstlers verarmte im Laufe der Kulturrevolution und sammelte zwanghaft Alltagsgegenstände. Die Installation ordnet ihren gesamten Besitz und katalogisiert und dokumentiert damit ein Leben.Der Band gibt erstmals einen Überblick über alle Werkreihen des Konzeptkünstlers, in denen er Themenfelder wie Konsum, Nachhaltigkeit, Erinnerung oder Spiritualität behandelt. So arrangiert Song Dong alte Türen und Fenster aus Abrissgebäuden zu neuen Wohnräumen, in Doing Nothing Garden auf der dOCUMENTA (13) verwandelte er einen Müllberg in einen begrünten Hügel, oder er baut aus Süßwaren moderne Stadtlandschaften nach: Eating the City – ungesund, aber lecker, Reinbeißen erlaubt!

My husband loves these. He’s got black, navy, bright blue, burgundy, grey…. and I’m sure I may be missing some! They hold up nicely after repeated washings in cold water in the machine and I always hang to dry. For golf they are fabulous because they are non constricting and comfortable while playing in the hot Florida sun which he does on a daily basis. They run very true to size….he takes his usual medium and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend!

Nice shirt, great price.

Worn it twice and I find it very comfortable. I wear it outside and casually to protect my arms and neck from the sun and find it more comfortable than a long sleeve t-shirt. The price is comparable. If I was to wear it to the office it would have to be ironed. I bought one shirt to try it and I will be buying more.

I added one of these shirts to another order just to see if they were any good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It fits perfectly and looks pretty nice for a low cost casual dress shirt. Materials seem decent quality. Comfortable, soft fabric. Didn’t shrink too much in the washer and dryer. We’ll see how it holds up long term but so far so good
