Carcassonne Star Wars Edition ist ein eigenständiges Legespiel von Hans im Glück, das klassische Carcassonne-Mechaniken mit dem Star-Wars-Universum kombiniert. In diesem Gesellschaftsspiel bauen die Spieler gemeinsam Handelsrouten, Asteroidenfelder und Planeten, indem sie Plättchen anlegen und so eine weit entfernte Galaxis erschaffen. Durch den Einsatz von Eroberern (Meeples) und Würfeln treten die Spieler in Kämpfe um die Vorherrschaft, was neue taktische Elemente in das bekannte Legespiel bringt. Das Spiel eignet sich ideal für den Spieleabend mit Freunden und bietet abwechslungsreiche Konflikt- und Gebietskontrollmechanismen.

Die Regeln wurden gegenüber dem klassischen Carcassonne erweitert, insbesondere durch Würfelmechaniken in den Kämpfen um die verschiedenen Gebiete. Ziel ist es, durch geschicktes Platzieren der Plättchen und den strategischen Einsatz von Figuren und Würfeln die meisten Punkte zu erzielen. Die Kombination aus Plättchenlegen, Mehrheitenkontrolle und Würfelkämpfen macht das Spiel auch für Fans von Star Wars interessant.
