Der Alien X ist die sechste Generation des erstmals 1986 im amerikanischen Colorado patentierten Micro Cam. Dieser neue Friend steht ganz in Tradition des Originals, beeindruckt jedoch mit verbesserter Ausführung und gesteigerter Leistung.
Erhältlich in sechs Größen, besticht der Alien X mit den folgenden Verbesserungen:
- Klemmbacken mit X-Grip-Textur: Besserer Halt der Klemmbacken bei den ersten Einsätzen.
- Drei polyvalente Größen: Drei große Ausführungen (3/4 gelb, 7/8 grau und 1 rot) dienen als passive Klemmgeräte.
- Redimensionierter und ergonomischer Zughebel: Der überarbeitete Zughebel macht den Alien X zu einem Micro Cam mit rascher und einfacher Handhabung, der sich leicht anbringen und entfernen lässt. Auch mit Handschuhen einfach zu bedienen, mit zusätzlichem Hubweg von 3 mm zwischen Zughebel und Klemmbacken.
- Solide und kompakte Konstruktion: Metallstift und widerstandskräftige Nietverbindung sorgen für ein kompaktes, homogenes Design, das diesen Micro Cam zuverlässig in der Wand hält.
DIE VERBINDUNG MIT DEM URSPRUNG
Der Alien X bleibt dem Charakter des ursprünglichen Patents treu:
- Leicht und handlich: Weniger Gewicht und mehr Platz am Klettergurt.
- Intelligentes Design: Geometrie des Zughebels bleibt überzeugend.
- Flexibler Aufbau: Absorbiert die über das Seil einwirkenden Kräfte und sorgt für sicheren Sitz der Klemmbacken.

Good quality T-shirt at a very reasonable price. The material feels thick and durable, giving it a premium feel. Fits well for a size L (5’10”, 178 lbs). The only downside is the sleeve length—they run a bit long and sit just above the elbow, so they don’t really highlight the biceps.
