One of you plays as the comically evil wizard, Mordak, and the rest form a band of allies called the "Order Without Borders" to stop his path of destruction! The game focuses on a strong and playful theme, capturing the best parts of a classic role-playing game and putting it into a single play session. Each player will build their character, spend experience points their team has earned, and find powerful treasures to make their characters more powerful with each passing turn!

Mordak has disappeared into the WORLD OF ETERNAL AND CARE-FREE DARKNESS! This player will have fun figuring out secrets in the dark and sowing desperation in the Allies' plans to become more powerful. They must hold nothing back, using all their cunning and evil genius to win the game for themselves! The Allies must find three ancient shrines hidden in the land. For each of these shrines, Mordak's power diminishes. Finding them all will reveal his location and begin a final battle for victory. They can explore the map at their own pace, but they will learn that they must balance their ambitions with what they can handle! Exploring too quickly will feed Mordak with threats the game board has to offer, but staggering will give him time to grow his cosmic powers! Ultimately, the winner of the game is the winner of the final confrontation between the Allies and their arch-enemy Mordak! Only the side that is better prepared and employs superior tactics will win the battle!
