Der Elfenwels (Acanthicus adonis) ist ein beeindruckender und faszinierender Wels aus Südamerika. Hier sind die wichtigsten Haltungsbedingungen für diese Art:
1. Aquariumgröße
- Empfohlene Mindestgröße: Ein ausgewachsenes Exemplar kann bis zu 80 cm erreichen, daher sollte das Aquarium mindestens 1300 Liter fassen. Größere Becken sind ideal, um den Fischen ausreichend Schwimmraum zu bieten.
- Beckeneinrichtung: Ein langes Becken mit viel Bodenfläche ist besonders vorteilhaft.
2. Wasserparameter
- Temperatur: 24–30 °C.
- pH-Wert: 6,0–7,5; leicht saures bis neutrales Wasser ist ideal.
- Härte: Weiches bis mittelhartes Wasser (dH 5–12).
3. Filterung und Wasserqualität
- Leistungsstarke Filterung: Da der Elfenwels viel Abfall produziert, ist eine gute Filterung unerlässlich. Ein leistungsstarker Außenfilter oder ein Teichfilter ist empfehlenswert.
- Regelmäßiger Wasserwechsel: Mindestens 20–30 % wöchentlich, um die Wasserqualität stabil zu halten.
4. Einrichtung des Aquariums
- Versteckmöglichkeiten: Große Wurzeln und Steine dienen als Verstecke und helfen, territoriales Verhalten zu mindern.
- Substrat: Sand oder feiner Kies, da sie gerne wühlen.
- Beleuchtung: Schwache bis mittlere Beleuchtung, da Acanthicus adonis eher dämmerungs- und nachtaktiv ist.
5. Ernährung
- Futter: Diese Welse sind Allesfresser, aber ihre Ernährung sollte ballaststoffreich sein. Eine Mischung aus pflanzlicher und proteinreicher Nahrung ist ideal. Holzfasern aus Mangroven- oder Moorkienwurzeln sollten ebenfalls zur Verfügung stehen, da sie gerne daran nagen.
- Fütterungshäufigkeit: 2–3 Mal pro Woche mit Lebend-, Frost- und Trockenfutter sowie Gemüse wie Zucchini und Gurken.
6. Sozialverhalten
- Vergesellschaftung: Der Elfenwels ist territorial und wird aggressiv gegenüber Artgenossen und anderen Grundfischen, insbesondere in kleineren Becken.
- Einzelhaltung empfohlen: Es wird empfohlen, nur ein Exemplar pro Aquarium zu halten oder ihn mit größeren, robusten Fischen zu vergesellschaften, die ebenfalls viel Platz benötigen.
7. Besonderheiten
- Lebenserwartung: Unter optimalen Bedingungen können Acanthicus adonis bis zu 15 Jahre alt werden.
- Verhalten: Sie sind oft eher versteckt und kommen hauptsächlich nachts heraus.

Sharp underwire!

I love the fit, support and minimizing of this bra…but the underwires are a nightmare. The ends are very sharp and rip through the fabric. I have repaired it several times and even put little rubber caps on the sharp ends of the underwire before sewing it closed. I wore it two more times and the underwire poked through the rubber and fabric. It sucks to finally find a bra that I love the fit only to be repeatedly poked by a sharp wire.

Stylish and practical backpack for work and travel

For both everyday work and travel, this bag has proven to be an excellent option. I can feel secure bringing my computer around because to the 15.6-inch laptop compartment's solid fit and ample padding. Notebooks, chargers, and a few personal belongings can fit in the spacious main compartment without feeling crowded.
The apricot color looks polished but still casual enough to wear outside of work, and I really enjoy the sleek and fashionable shape. Even when the bag is completely packed, the straps remain comfy, and the stitching seems sturdy.
I particularly enjoy that there are several pockets, including smaller ones for a phone, pencils, or keys. It makes everything accessible and well-organized. If the material gets a bit dusty while traveling, it washes clean and the zippers open smoothly.
It is lightweight, adaptable, and functions well as a carry-on, purse-style bag, or business backpack. All things considered, it's a good everyday bag that is both practical and stylish.

Perfect for a backpack or a purse

I love this black backpack. It has gold zippers and brown accents and it has a pocket in the front two on the side three inside and a pocket on the back of the laptop pocket. I have a disability and have to carry extra stuff so this is a perfect size for me to wear in my back every day. It’s black nylon so it should stay clean. I tend to drop things. I think this will be great, but even without a disability, this is a great backpack. It’s so cute.

Perfect day bag!
