Die Staubabsaugung erfolgt durch die Grundplatte und der Anschluss einer Fremdabsaugung ist möglich. Des Weiteren verfügt der Makita DBO 180 über eine 3-stufige elektronische Drehzahleinstellung für optimales Arbeiten bei verschiedenen Bedingungen.
