Der Hoop ist ein neuer Radialbrüher von Ceado, der 2023 auf der Messe World of Coffee mit dem Best New Product Award ausgezeichnet wurde. 

Der Hoop besteht aus drei Teilen: Einem äußeren Brühring (Outer Loop), dem Flusstrum (Flow Tower) und dem Papierfilter (hier kann man passenderweise die Aeropress Filter verwenden).

Die Verwendung ist absolut einfach: 

Der Hoop nutzt eine Radialbrühmethode:
Dank der seitlichen Löcher am Boden des Flow Towers wird das Wasser gleichmäßig durch das Kaffeebett gefiltert, und zwar sanft und regelmäßig.
Der Wasserfluss durch die Löcher garantiert eine gleichmäßige Extraktion: Das Wasser durchströmt den Kaffee mit der gleichen Menge und Stärke und erreicht den Papierfilter erst, nachdem es die Reise durch den Kaffee beendet hat.

Der Hoop verarbeitet in einem Brühvorgang maximal 20 Gramm gemahlenen Kaffee.

Mixed Results - Sauberkugel Clean Ball Review

I purchased the Sauberkugel Clean Ball in Teal to help keep my bags clean from dust, dirt, and crumbs, and while it had some positive aspects, I can only give it a moderate 3-star rating due to a few shortcomings. On the plus side, the concept of the sticky inside ball is ingenious and showed promise. It did manage to pick up some dust and small particles (including glitter) from my purse which was a relief. The teal color is cute and made it easier to spot in a bag. However, there were some limitations that affected its overall effectiveness. *It seemed to struggle with picking up certain types of debris, particularly larger crumbs, heavier dirt, and ever some larger glitter/confetti pieces. This inconsistency was a bit disappointing as I had hoped based on the ads for it to be much more effective. *Another major issue I encountered was the difficulty of opening and cleaning the ball. The design was supposed to make it relatively easy to open and clean (as the ads lead me to believe). However I was unable to get the ball unlatched - which made it quite challenging to clean fully. It was frustrating to wrestle with the ball and being unable open to clean it out fully. In summary, while the Sauberkugel Clean Ball had its merits and did manage to capture some unwanted particles, it fell short in terms of consistency and ease of use. The struggle to open and clean the ball was a significant drawback for me.
