Dem feinen Nain 6La, ist der Ruhm der Provenienz zu verdanken. Er gilt im gesamten Orient als besonders hochwertiger persischer Teppich. Nain Teppiche werden in hervorragender Feinheit geknüpft. Als Flormaterial wird meist beste, samtartige Korkwolle und immer Seide verwendet, damit eine exakte Musterung von Medaillons und All Over-Musterung ausgeführt werden kann. Man unterscheidet den Nain in 4 Qualitätsstufen, die in „La“ angegeben werden. 4La, 6La, 9La, 12La. Dies ist eine Qualitätsbezeichnung und bezieht sich auf die Anzahl der Fadenschichten, die in jedem Kettenfaden enthalten sind. Je geringerer die angegebene Zahl ist, desto feiner und dichter ist der Teppich. Nains gehören zu den Schönsten auf der Welt. Sie sind bei Sammlern sehr beliebt. Durch ihre schlichte Eleganz passen Nains auch in moderne Einrichtungen.
