Wir stricken die Baggy Mütze mit 1 Faden GARNA Nobilis - wunderschön warme 100% superfeine Lammwolle aus Schottland in allerbester Qualität zusammen mit 1 Faden GARNA Cava - weicher und flaumiger Seidenmohair aus Italien mit einem Faseranteil von 73% Superkid-Mohair und 27% Maulbeerseide.

 


Die Baggy Mütze ist eine sehr schlichte Mütze mit leicht bauschiger Passform am Hinterkopf und unten mit aufgerollter Krempe. Die Mütze wird in Runden auf einer Rundstricknadel von unten nach oben gestrickt und oben mit auf dem Nadelspiel gestrickten Abnahmen abgeschlossen. Die Mütze sollte (bei Verwendung des angegebenen oder ähnlichen Garns) eine Strickstärke von ca. 17-18 M per 10 cm haben - dies wird im Muster bezüglich der Passform berücksichtigt. Du kannst die Länge der Mütze variieren, um den gewünschten Look zu erzielen. Der obere Teil der Mütze mit Abnahmen misst 5-6 cm.

Dieses PetiteKnit Strickpaket enthält Garn von GARNA und ein gedrucktes Muster. Die Anleitung wird nur zusammen mit dem entsprechenden Garn verkauft.

Not fur Surfing or other Water Sports
I got this in a swag bag from a surfing contest. The stick is very dry...that's the only way I can explain how it feels. It certainly doesn't glide on like other face sticks. After one wave and ducking my face in the water, the product smeared off and ran into my eyes. My vision got blurry from that, and it was really hard to see the waves coming in. I won't be using this product ever again. I also looked at the EWG website, and this product was given a 6. For those new to EWG, that's not a good rating. You want like a 1 or 2.

Worked well near the equator

I bought this product because I was going to be in the field for a month, outside, every day, all day, in Tanzania at high altitude. A severe sunburn would be hard to treat in the remote area we were in, but also I am very careful about protecting my skin from aging. I had to have mineral based sunscreen because as a whitewater kayaker I know it’s the only truly water resistant kind and it was going to be sweaty. And since I knew I was going to be putting it on every day, and we didn’t have running water in the field (bucket showers only) I didn’t want it to feel gross. (I really wanted to try the spray but I didn’t want to put anything pressurized in my luggage.) And I had already discovered the Coola face sunscreen (30spf version) which had impressed me with how silky smooth and not greasy it is. Now this IS greasier because it is a higher SPF. BUT I think this product is as good as you’re going to get with the protection you’re getting. Like I said, I’m a white water tiger, so I have used a LOT of mineral sunscreens. This was hands down the most comfortable one I’ve used. And it was effective. I didn’t burn once—only time I did burn was when I forgot to put it on one day toward the end of the trip, when we were out for just a couple hours—and I got the first 2nd degree burn I’ve ever had in my life. That was what this stuff had protected me from, all day every day, the entire trip. I did tan a little but I think that was mostly from the few times I was not covered during short bouts or it was cloudy. For my face I used the Coola 50spf face product.
