Besonderheiten: Diese limitierte Abfüllung von James Eadie präsentiert einen 18 Jahre alten Dailuaine Single Malt, der am 22. Februar 2007 destilliert und 2025 abgefüllt wurde. Nach seiner Reifung in First Fill Cognac Barrique Fässern (Fassnummer 354552) wurde der Whisky in natürlicher Farbe und ohne Kühlfiltration abgefüllt, was seine Authentizität und Tiefe unterstreicht. Mit einer limitierten Auflage von nur 232 Flaschen ist dieser Whisky ein begehrtes Sammlerstück für Kenner und Liebhaber.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Frische Aromen von Apfel, Birne und Limette, begleitet von Heu und einem Hauch von Honig.
  • Gaumen: Zunächst dominieren Limette und frische Pfirsiche, gefolgt von einer Kombination aus Meersalz und einer cremigen Textur, die an Haferkekse mit Butter und Honig erinnert.
  • Abgang: Ein frischer Zitronenquark mit einem Hauch von Salz und Untertönen von Limette rundet das Geschmackserlebnis ab.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Dailuaine Distillery, gegründet 1851 in der schottischen Speyside, ist bekannt für ihre hochwertigen Single Malts, die häufig in Blends Verwendung finden. Der unabhängige Abfüller James Eadie, benannt nach dem schottischen Brauer James Eadie (1827–1904), der 1854 eine Brauerei gründete und ein eigenes Rezept für einen Blended Scotch Whisky besass, wurde 2015 von seinem Ur-Ur-Enkel Rupert Patrick wiederbelebt. James Eadie spezialisiert sich auf Cask Finish, Single Cask und Small Batch Abfüllungen von Single Malt und Single Grain Scotch Whiskys, wobei alle Whiskys in natürlicher Farbe und ohne Kühlfiltration abgefüllt werden.

Great fit, tether / lanyard probably won't stay on long
A great fit and deal for the money. It's well-balanced in the hand, and makes the remote much less awkward to use. I have two Apple TV's in the house, and the different colors help keep the remotes straight. There's a lanyard that attaches to a small little bit of silicone. Having the lanyard is nice, but it doesn't stay connected because the bit of plastic is so small, it rips even under a small force. It's still completely useful and worth the purchase to me without the lanyard, but if the lanyard is a dealbreaker for you, you may wish to reconsider. I can't imagine it staying on very long in any environment. 2 kids and a cat it lasted about 20 minutes.
