Das gepfeffert DDC ohne verstellbare Sturzdomlager wird mit den serienmäßig verbauten Stützlagern montiert. Wir bezeichnen das gepfeffert Fahrwerk ohne Sturzdomlager als „kleine Tiefe Version“. Außerdem wird dafür die originale Magnet Ride Funktion benötigt.

Wir unterscheiden hier Gewindefahrwerke der Marke gepfeffert.com made by KW, mit oder ohne verstellbare Sturzdomlager (Modell- & plattformabhängig). Die Fahrwerke ohne Sturzdomlager weisen eine bis zu 35mm Mehrtieferlegung auf, gegenüber einem Serien KW Gewindefahrwerk.

Beispiel Golf 7 GTI:

  • Serien KW Gewindefahrwerk: Verstellbereich 20-45mm
  • GEPFEFFERT KW Gewindefahrwerk: Verstellbereich 35-70mm

Diese Fahrwerke wurden speziell für unsere Kunden gebaut, die den Fokus auf maximal 15-35mm Mehrtieferlegung gegenüber einem Serien KW Gewindefahrwerk gelegt haben, ohne dabei eine gepfeffert Version mit Sturzdomlager (Uniballlager) zu verwenden.


Die Fahrwerke mit verstellbaren Sturzdomlagern hingegen, weisen einen noch größeren „Spielraum“ auf, für noch mehr Tieferlegung und noch mehr Upgrademöglichkeiten, um das Fahrzeug noch individueller auf die Anforderungen des jeweiligen Fahrers abstimmen zu können.

Die KW DDC Gewindefahrwerke sind die intelligente Fahrwerklösung zum Nachrüsten aus dem KW iSuspension Lieferprogramm. Sie kombinieren die Vorteile eines adaptiven Dämpfungssystems mit einer stilechten und sportlichen Tieferlegung nach Ihren individuellen Vorstellungen. Erhältlich sind die adaptiven KW Gewindefahrwerke als KW DDC Plug & Play Variante für Fahrzeugmodelle mit elektronisch geregeltem Serienfahrwerk.

Immer mehr Premiumfahrzeuge sind heute mit einem adaptiven Fahrwerksystem ausgestattet. Bis zur Markteinführung von KW DDC Plug & Play mussten Sie bei einer individuellen Wunschtieferlegung oft Kompromisse eingehen und oftmals sogar auf Ihre extra bezahlten aktiven Regelsysteme und Komfortfeatures verzichten. Dagegen sind Sie bei den adaptiven KW DDC Plug & Play Gewindefahrwerken frei von Kompromissen und können die Steuerung Ihres Seriendämpfersystems mit einer stufenlosen Tieferlegung und der Fahrdynamik eines KW Gewindefahrwerks verbinden.

 

Das gepfeffert.com® DDC Plug & Play Gewindefahrwerk made by KW

Bei der Installation werden die Serienfederbeine einfach gegen die in Edelstahltechnologie „inox-line“ gefertigten KW Federbeine ersetzt und die adaptiven KW Dämpfer mit der Serien-Bordelektronik durch die Originalstecker Ihres Automobilherstellers verbunden. Weitere Montageschritte sind bei den KW DDC Plug & Play Gewindefahrwerken nicht nötig. Die serienmäßigen Dämpfer können einfach gegen das KW DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) Gewindefahrwerk ausgetauscht werden. Die vorhandene Steuerung und der im Innenraum installierte Schalter für die Betätigung der Dämpfersteuerung werden beibehalten.

A bit expensive

Waited to give a review on this one because I needed several nights before I had any idea if it was as good as everyone says. I've had a real problem finding pillows lately. Either they're too soft to provide support and I wake up with a stiff neck or they're too sturdy and I wake up with a stiff neck. Contour pillows have worked best for me, but they fall under the category of too sturdy. I also toss and turn too much at night, which means I always end up in an awkward position with contour pillows. So I took a chance on an obscenely expensive pillow, and yes, that is the reason for one less star. I'd happily pay $70 for a pillow I thought was amazing and comfortable and perfect, but this one wasn't quite it. It IS comfortable. I have slept on it for a month now without it making my neck stiff, so it does actually provide a good balance between soft and sturdy. They make it easy to stuff the pillow to your preferred fluffiness and even provide extra stuffing if you need it, which adds to the degree of comfort. While the pillow does provide good neck support, I toss and turn a bit trying to find a comfortable position when I first try to sleep. The stuffing within the pillow moves around at night, most notably shifting to the side and the pillow is notably flatter now than when I first purchased it. You can fluff it out, similarly to a down pillow, but it doesn't seem to retain its shape on its own. In some ways, that's good because what it does instead is try to retain a shape that fits you. So yes, this is a really good pillow. One of the better ones you can buy. But it's really expensive for a pillow.
