Kolloidales Silber ist ein geschmackloses, geruchloses, ungiftig, reine, natürliche Substanz, die aus submikroskopischen Cluster aus Silberpartikeln, die von einer winzigen elektrischen Ladung auf jedem Teilchen platziert suspendiert in einer geeigneten Flüssigkeit.

Kolloidalem Silber kann auch an Schnittblumen hinzugefügt werden, wodurch diese länger leben und bestreitet Bakterien, Viren und Pilze die im Wasser sein könnten.

Einer geringen Menge kolloidalem Silber auf den Stiel und Blattoberflächen sprühen ermöglicht die Pflanze Silberionen zu absorbieren und verhindert Pilze, Viren und Bakterien die äußere Oberfläche zu besiedeln. Das kolloidale Silber wird in die Pflanze absorbiert, und tötet alle Krankheitserreger in sich sowie alle eingebetteten Insekteneier. Allerdings ist kolloidales Silber nicht wirksam auf reifen Insekten, deshalb Bestäuber wie Bienen und Marienkäfer sind nicht geschadet.

Garten Nahrungspflanzen, die mit kolloidalem Silber besprüht wurden keine Rückstände hinterlassen, in gegensatz zu Insektensprays, und sind sicher für den menschlichen Verzehr.

Es kann also auf der Pflanze gesprüht werden also auch am Wasser hinzugefügt werden.
