Wie VIVID funktioniert

VIVID wurde von Giro in Partnerschaft mit ZEISS Optics, dem Marktführer für Qualitätsoptik, entwickelt. Diese patentierte Scheibentechnologie basiert auf jahrzehntelangen Untersuchungen des visuellen Erlebnisses auf Schnee. Herkömmliche Ski- und Sonnenbrillen eliminieren blaues Licht. Lange hielt sich der Glaube, blaues Licht sei gleichzeitig schlechtes Licht. Im Kern geht es um folgendes: Schnee ist nicht weiß! Als die am meisten reflektierende Oberfläche auf der Erde ist Schnee tatsächlich blau! Unsere Forschung hat herausgefunden, dass dieses blaue Licht elementar wichtig für das kontrastreiche Sehen ist. Die VIVID Lens Technology nutzt diese Erkenntnis und filtert zudem schädliches UV-Licht.
