Diese Schuhe entsprechen den Leistungsanforderungen der Sicherheitsklasse S3 und werden in den Größen 39 - 48 gefertigt. Für gute Stabilität und Halt im Schuh sorgt die Kragenpolsterung. Darüber hinaus ist der CARL S3 HI nach BGR 191 zertifiziert. Nähte aus hitzebeständigem Garn bieten ein Optimum an Flammenfestigkeit, Hitzeschutz und Chemikalienbeständigkeit. Gegen vorzeitigen Verschleiß des Oberleders im Bereich der Schuhspitze schützt ein PU-Spitzenschutz.

Einen komfortablen Einstieg bietet der Schnallenverschluss. Ein Schnellverschluss bietet einen komfortablen Einstieg aber auch einen schnellen Ausstieg in Gefahrensituationen. Die gepolsterte Funkenmanschette verhindert das Eindringen von Funken und bietet somit einen optimalen Schutz der Füße. Das Obermaterial besteht aus robustem, atmungsaktivem Rindleder, das widerstandsfähig gegen Abnutzung ist. In unseren Modellen verwendetes Lederfutter ist atmungsaktiv und reißfest.

Ergonomisch geformte Stahlkappen schützten beim CARL S3 HI vor Stoßeinwirkungen und Druckbeanspruchungen. Die ganzflächige, auswechselbare Einlegesohle Basic grey ist antistatisch, abriebfest und antibakteriell. Die antistatische Softvlies-Brandsohle sorgt zusammen mit der ganzflächigen Einlegesohle für ein angenehmes Fußklima. Durchtrittschutz erhält der CARL S3 HI durch eine Stahlzwischensohle aus korrosionsbeständigem Edelstahl. Die grobstollige Zweischichten-Gummi-PU-Profilsohle bietet eine sehr gute Rutschsicherheit, ist antistatisch, abriebfest, kerbzäh, hitzebeständig bis ca. 200°C, kurzzeitig bis 300°C, kälteflexibel bis ca. -20°C sowie beständig gegen eine Vielzahl von Chemikalien.
