Das Marlin 6 ist das perfekte Bike, um dir Skills auf dem Trail anzueignen. Seine moderne, flachere Rahmengeometrie sorgt für ein kontrollierteres Fahrverhalten auf Abfahrten, während die höherwertige Federgabel Unebenheiten auf dem Trail wirksam entschärft. Integrierte Aufnahmepunkte für Gepäckträger und Ständer erleichtern die Montage von Zubehör und erhöhen so die Vielseitigkeit.

Trek bietet Dir einen leichten Aluminiumrahmen mit moderner Trailbike-Geometrie und interner Zugverlegung, die nicht nur die Leitungen schützt, sondern auch für eine saubere Optik sorgt. Außerdem kommt es mit einer RockShox Judy-Gabel, die mit ihren 100 mm Federweg Steine, Wurzeln und Unebenheiten glattbügelt, sowie mit einer unkomplizierten Shimano CUES 1x10-Schaltung und kraftvoll zupackenden hydraulischen Scheibenbremsen.

 

  • Mit dem Marlin Gen 3 bekommst du dank größerer Reifenfreiheit, interner Verlegung des Variosattelstützenzugs und ThruSkew-Hinterradachse ein Bike mit großartiger Trailfähigkeit, während die langgestrecktere, flachere Geometrie in steilerem Geläuf und bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten für mehr Stabilität sorgt.
  • Die RockShox-Federgabel mit 100 mm Federweg schluckt Unebenheiten wie Steine und Wurzeln souverän.
  • Gepäckträger- und Schutzblechösen erleichtern die Befestigung von Zubehör, das dein Mountainbike in ein robustes Pendlerrad verwandelt.
  • Dank interner Zugverlegung kann problemlos eine Variosattelstütze nachgerüstet werden, um den Sattel auf Abfahrten abzusenken.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
