Durch die kleinere Grösse entstehen spannende, kreative Spielideen und zahlreiche Bewegungsaktivitäten – sowohl drinnen als auch draussen. Jeder Stapelstein wird mit Sorgfalt in Deutschland hergestellt.

Wichtige Hinweise zum Gebrauch der Stapelsteine:

  • Vermeide den Kontakt mit scharfen oder spitzen Gegenständen wie Scheren, Messern, Nägeln, Draht oder Steinen. Diese könnten bleibende Schäden an den Stapelsteinen verursachen.
  • Hitze und Zündquellen (wie Flammen oder Funken) sollten unbedingt gemieden werden.
  • Beim Spielen im Wasser dienen die Stapelsteine nur als Spielzeug, nicht als Schwimmhilfe. Verwende sie daher ausschliesslich in flachem Wasser und immer unter der Aufsicht von Erwachsenen.
  • Achtung beim Balancieren! Auf glatten Böden kann es durch abrupte Bewegungen zum Verrutschen der Stapelsteine kommen. Eine rutschfeste Unterlage wie ein Teppich oder eine Yoga-Matte kann dies verhindern.

A New Classic
Format: Kindle
I pre-ordered, so I was able to get the PDF and start reading early. Of all the books I own on the American Revolution, I think this one stands to become my "go to." It is encyclopedic in scope, but deftly avoids becoming a drudgery or a slog through a mire of textbook facts. Somehow, Eric has managed to include a great deal of detail without losing any of the drama. It’s the story that rises to the fore in a gripping tale that just happens to be true (and much more than that, is our heritage). All the trademark “Metaxas” hallmarks are here: judiciously placed humor and lightheartedness that never descends into silliness, seriousness that somehow never lacks in winsomeness, depth that never smothers. He manages to portray both the soberness that the subject deserves without losing the hopefulness that the story of the Revolution should inspire in us. And along the way, you’ll find yourself better understanding what “went down” and (just as importantly) what it means to you today. Excellent work. If you think another history book on the American Revolution cannot inspire you or keep your attention, this one is up to the challenge.

The History Teacher I Always Wished For

A witty, learned page-turner, replete with wacky anecdotes but suffused by wisdom and patriotic love. Metaxas shows how the biblical view of the human person made America possible, and weaves throughout the story pieces of evidence that Providence actively aided the pious patriots against their cynical, post-Christian enemies in Britain. I devoured this book in 72 hours, and now I want to go back and read it again.
