Herkunft: Italien Suedtirol DOC

Der Weißburgunder ist eine der wichtigsten Rebsorten Südtirols. Um die Besonderheiten des Weißburgunders hervorzuheben, werden schon seit vielen Jahren einzelne Rebsorten alten Ursprungs angebaut. Es besteht die Überzeugung, dass dieser anspruchsvoller Weg in Verbindung mit den Böden der Berge von Eppan (die zu den besten Südtirols für den Anbau von Weißburgunder zählen) einen Qualitätssicherung garantieren kann.

Beschreibung des Weins
Die verwendeten Rebsorten sind das Ergebnis einer klonalen und massenhaften Selektion. Der Boden besteht aus kalkhaltigen Böden am Fuße des Mendel-Massivs.

Die Gärung erfolgt in Stahl für ca. 14 Tage bei 19-20° C, ausgewählte Hefen auf dem Bauernhof, ohne malolaktische Gärung; Alterung auf Feinhefe (Stahl); Stabilisierung mit Winterkälte und leichte Filtration vor der Abfüllung.

Alkohol: 13,5%

Allergene: enthaelt Sulfite

Verkostungsnotizen
Strohgelb, in der Nase zeigt sich die ganze Typizität der Rebsorte mit schönen Noten von Apfel, Aprikose und Birne. Im Mund ist er frisch, lang, samtig und elegant. Eine gute Säure unterstreicht den Charakterzug bis zu einem Abgang von tadelloser Sauberkeit.

Alterungsfähigkeit
Ein Wein, der getrunken werden kann, aber auch ein paar Jahre in der Flasche reifen kann.
