Adellos is a turn-based fast-paced tactical strategy board game for 2-4 players. Each player controls a medieval fantasy nobleman, who hires various units and tries to defeat the other players. Everyone plays a different faction (Royal Army, Clergy, Rebels & Undead) and players have different units with unique abilities to choose from and control. They also have to manage their gold income.

Everything takes place on a symmetrical battle board and each noble has a specific ability that affects the game from the start. You win the game via KO or "King of the Hill".

The turns are played in two phases. During the first phase, players receive resources that their units provide. In the second phase, players hire units, move, attack or play action cards. Each action costs a certain number of action points. The players start with three action points and a fixed amount of gold. Players can increase their action points during the game to build up long turns.
