Es wurde 1756 von der Familie Myburgh übernommen, in deren Besitz es sich seither befindet. In der achten Generation wird es von Hannes Myburgh geführt, der in Deutschland Weinbau studiert und vormals bei Chateau Lafite in Bordeaux tätig war. Das Aushängeschild des Weinguts ist der Rubicon, der deutlich von Hannes' Erfahrungen in Frankreich beeinflusst ist, sowohl was die Bewirtschaftung der Weinberge als auch die Vinifizierung betrifft. Der Rubicon wird überwiegend aus Cabernet Sauvignon und kleineren Anteilen von Merlot, Cabernet Franc und Petit Verdot gekeltert. Die Früchte stammen von über 20 Jahre alten Rebflächen. Jede Sorte wird auf den dafür am besten geeigneten Böden gepflanzt, wobei der Cabernet auf zersetztem Granitschotter und der Merlot auf reichhaltigeren Lehmböden wächst. Die beiden Sorten werden von Hannes separat fermentiert und der Wein wird dann 8 Monate lang in 60% neuen französischen Eichenfässern ausgebaut. Dann macht er die endgültige Assemblage und lässt den Wein weitere 10 Monate in Fässern reifen. Das Ergebnis ist ein komplexes und anspruchsvolles Cuvée im Bordeaux-Stil, das seinen Preis wert ist. Es ist reich an fruchtigen Aromen, weichen Tanninen und einem verführerischen Hauch von Gewürzen und Röstnoten im langen Abgang.Shipping Notes

Basic knowledge of underwriting is necessary to understand.

This is a great guide for underwriting multifamily deals for someone with some basic to moderate knowledge of underwriting. I am a new student to this field and have to stop and google some of the acronyms. For a future version, I think adding an extra page for the acronyms used, definition and equation would be helpful. I think that the font could be larger and darker. Adding mathematical formulas in the book would provide visualization as well. Rob can also provide a sample OM for the reader to use with his underwriting model and compare to his completed one. Again, I am a newbie so my review may change as I gain knowledge in this area. I enjoyed listening to Rob on Youtube/Podcast and hope to learn more from him.

great read for underwriters of multifamily deals
Format: Kindle
Rob lays out a succinct and thorough summary of his underwriting process, questions industry standards while sharing his opinions, and discusses risk management and analyses for deals during the underwriting process. Highly recommend for newer and more seasoned underwriters and investors to build or sharpen multifamily underwriting fundamentals and details. He also shares his model as the example.

Full of useful information
Format: Paperback
As context, I've underwritten about 100 deals and attended some basic underwriting classes. Rob's book was very useful to me, both in helping me gain better skills in underwriting basics (stabilization time period and how unit renovations and rent bumps are modeled/phased-in as well as when to start applying rent escalator) as well as higher level topics, like partnership structures, sensitivity analyses, and judging the returns. In all of these higher level topics I learned several new topics (and calculations to add to my underwriting) and would guess that even experienced investors would pick up a few quality nuggets in these sections.
