Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für die Yamaha Tracer 700, Modelljahre 2016 bis 2020, konzipiert. Dieses Zubehör dient der sicheren Befestigung eines kompatiblen Tankrucksacks direkt am Kraftstofftank des Motorrads.

Im Lieferumfang des Produkts sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter enthalten, der abhängig von der spezifischen Tankform und dem Lenkereinschlag angebracht wird. Die Montage des Tankrings beeinträchtigt nicht die Zugänglichkeit des Tankdeckels, der auch bei angebrachtem Ring problemlos geöffnet werden kann.

Die Installation des Tankrings ermöglicht eine einfache und sichere Anbringung des Tankrucksacks durch eine mechanische Verriegelung, die ein deutlich hörbares Einrasten beim Aufsetzen des Rucksacks gewährleistet. Während der Lock-it Tankring zusätzlich mit Magneten zur Zentrierung ausgestattet ist, erfolgt die Verriegelung beim Basic Modell rein mechanisch. Beide Modelle verwenden jedoch denselben modellspezifischen Metallring.
