Was ist Matcha?

Matcha wird aus Tencha hergestellt – einem speziell beschatteten Grüntee. Vor der Ernte werden die Teepflanzen für mehrere Wochen vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt.

Nach der Ernte werden die Blätter schonend gedämpft, getrocknet und in Granitsteinmühlen zu feinem Pulver vermahlen.

Besonderheit von Matcha

Im Gegensatz zu aufgegossenem Grüntee wird beim Matcha das gesamte, fein vermahlene Blatt konsumiert.

Geschmack

Intensiv grün, leicht herb mit charakteristischer Umami-Note und feiner natürlicher Süße.

Lagerung

Matcha ist licht- und hitzeempfindlich. Kühl, trocken und luftdicht lagern – idealerweise im Kühlschrank.

Abgefüllt in Mironglas. Dieses violette Spezialglas reduziert bestimmte Lichteinflüsse und eignet sich für lichtempfindliche Naturprodukte. Recycelbares Glas.

Hinweis: Enthält von Natur aus Koffein. Für Schwangere, Stillende und Kinder nicht empfohlen.

ZUBEREITUNG

Verzehrempfehlung: Für Matcha-Tee 1–2 Bambuslöffel (ca. ½ TL) Matcha-Pulver in eine Tasse geben. Mit 100 ml etwa 80 °C heißem Wasser (nicht kochendem) aufgießen und mit einem Bambusbesen schaumig schlagen. Anschließend genießen.

Weitere Verzehrmöglichkeiten: Ideal auch als Eistee oder Matcha Latte mit Milch oder Pflanzendrink – eine köstliche Kaffee-Alternative. Verleiht Smoothies, Desserts, Gebäck oder Müsli ein vollmundiges, besonderes Aroma.

Her mom is busy keeping their-once small town-fast food restaurant off the ground as an ultra successful chain, and let’s be realistic here, Pepper is as well since she secretly has a large hand in the social media aspect. Her sister is away at college and has a strained relationship with their mom and their dad is back in their hometown managing the original Big League Burger. Jack is the son of a rival burger shop, twin, and class clown. He usually prefers to fly under the radar where most things are concerned, perfectly content with hiding away developing his apps. Apps like the one being banned at school. The one he designed, for students only, to anonymously post under the guise of an animal. That is, until Big League steals his family’s grilled cheese recipe. Only then does he find himself locked in a twitter war with Pepper. What neither realize is that they’re falling for each other behind animal faces on his app while the twitter war goes viral. I enjoyed this book, but I didn’t love it quite as much as the other work I’ve read by Emma. I found the beginning a little hard to get into and I wasn’t a huge fan of how the two were forced to spend time together, but after four chapters or so I was hooked and didn’t want to put it down. The banter we love is there between the characters and they’re almost sickeningly cute together. Though I have to admit, I love the PepperJack ship. The name is too perfect. I loved Jack’s opinion of being on Twitter, yelling into a void. Just a great, fun read overall.
