Der Barolo Bussia DOCG stammt aus dem herrlichen Weinberg in Form eines Amphitheaters in der Gegend von Bussia Monforte d'Alba.
Dieser historische Wein wurde 1961 zum ersten Mal in Prunotto als Lagenwein produziert. Die Ausgewogenheit und Komplexität der Nebbiolo-Trauben wird durch die abwechslungsreiche Süd- bis Südwestausrichtung des Weinbergs und die traditionelle Reifung in großen Fässern verstärkt.

1982 blieb die Zusammensetzung unverändert, der Tignanello ist seitdem eine Cuvée aus etwa 80% Sangiovese mit 15% Cabernet Sauvignon und 5% Cabernet Franc, die 12-14 Monate in Barriques aus französischer und ungarischer Eiche ausgebaut wird. Der Antinori Tignanello 2017 präsentiert sich in intensiv rubinroter Farbe. An der Nase beeindruckt er durch seine Komplexität. Noten von reifer roter Frucht wie in Alkohol eingelegte Kirsche, Amarenakirsche, Himbeere und Pflaume wechseln sich ab mit delikaten Gewürznoten von Nelke und Süßholz; sanfte Balsamnoten von Minze und Schokolade runden das komplexe Bouquet ab. Am Gaumen ist der Wein reich und vibrierend mit weichen samtigen Tanninen. Langes Finale und anhaltender Nachgeschmack, bei dem die an der Nase wahrgenommenen Noten wiederkehren.
