Das "SS39477 "The Space Ship" SPecial Edition Hawaiihemd" aus der Sun Surf basiert auf einem seltenen Originaldesign der späten 1950er Jahre. Unter dem ursprünglichen Markennamen KUONAKAKAI entstanden Aloha-Shirts dieser Art in der Hochphase des Hawaii-Tourismus als auffällige Souvenir-Textilien mit stark grafischem Charakter.

Gefertigt wird das Hemd aus Filament Rayon mit fließendem Fall und glatter Oberfläche. Der Allover-Print wird im Discharge-Verfahren umgesetzt, bei dem das Motiv aus dem gefärbten Stoff herausgelöst wird. Dadurch bleibt der weiche Griff des Materials erhalten, während der Druck tief in die Faserstruktur eingebunden wirkt.
