Der zweite Teil der Archivedition der Berlinischen Galerie »Hannah Höch - Eine Lebenscollage« stellt in einem »Leseband« und einem »Studienband« das Leben und Werk der Künstlerin in den Jahren 1921 bis 1945 vor. Initiator der Edition ist der ausgewiesene Dada-Spezialist, der 1994 verstorbene Eberhard Roters gewesen, der anhand der im Hannah-Höch-Archiv der Berlinischen Galerie befindlichen Dokumente (Briefe, Postkarten Ausstellungsunterlagen, Zeitschriften und Bücher) in essayhafter Form die künstlerische Entwicklung und das Leben Hannah Höchs pointiert und nachgezeichnet hat. Eberhard Roters konnte nur noch sechs der von ihm konzipierten neun Kapitel schreiben. Der Kunstkritiker Heinz Ohff, Autor der allerersten Monografie über Hannah Höch, vollendete die »1. Abteilung«, in deren Mittelpunkt unter anderem Ausklang und Nachhall von Dada Berlin, das Ende der Beziehung Hannah Höchs zu Raoul Hausmann, ihre Freundschaft mit Kurt Schwitters und den Künstlern Hans Arp, Theo und Nelly van Doesburg, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy und Arthur Segal steht. Der Studienband präsentiert erstmalig die gesamte Materialsammlung des Hannah-Höch-Archivs für diesen Zeitraum: Briefe, Manuskripte, künstlerische Lebenszeugnisse aus mehr als vier Jahrzehnten in Transkription und detaillierter Beschreibung, ergänzt durch umfangreiche Kommentare.Shipping Notes

We reorder this item frequently. The cotton content is excellent and is thick. It doesn’t pull off easily. The quantity in the box is plenty to get our family of four through a month. If you have skin sensitivity, these are for you. We have sensitive skin in our family and have no concerns with this product.
