Dieses Werkzeug wurde zum Schlitzen und Ringen vieler Arten von Pufferschläuchen, Breakout-Kabeln und anderen Arten von ummantelten Kabeln entwickelt. Es ist perfekt zum Schlitzen von OFS Minicord EZ-Bend und anderen ähnlichen Kabeln geeignet.

Eigenschaften

  • Die L-förmige Führung aus gehärtetem Stahl und der Klingenschutz sind speziell so konstruiert, dass das Werkzeug offene Ummantelungen aufschlitzen kann und gleichzeitig die Pufferrohre und Fasern im Inneren des Kabels schützt.
  • Die Schneidklinge befindet sich am oberen Ende des Werkzeugs, wobei 1/4″ der Klinge freiliegt und von der 1/2″ L-förmigen Stahlführung gehalten wird.
  • Die kürzere L-förmige Stahlführung ermöglicht ein einfacheres Schneiden von Kabeln wie dem OFS Minicord EZ-Bend und anderen ähnlichen Kabeln (kürzere Führung als beim JIC-4366).
  • Der Ringer-Teil des Werkzeugs befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Griffs und verwendet einen Kabelhalter aus Federstahl, um das Kabel in Position zu halten. Dieser Halter hat auch einen verschiebbaren Metallspanner, um die Kraft auf das Kabel zu erhöhen und sicherzustellen, dass der Mantel ganz durchgeschnitten wird.
  • Ringer kann für Kabel mit einem Durchmesser von 4,7 mm bis 12,7 mm verwendet werden und schneidet durch Kunststoff-, Gummi- oder Gewebeisolierungen mit 0,79 mm oder 0,46 mm Dicke
  • Beinhaltet eine Ersatzringklinge und eine Ersatzschlitzklinge
