I think because it's spring, im not needing as much occlusion as i did during winter. I'm gonna go back to the lotion formula, then pick this up again next winter. It is a little hard to spread, but I spray the avene mineral water on, let it dry slightly, and press the balm into my skin when its still wet. That helps thin the balm just enough to rub in. Otherwise, it can actually feel kind of rough!

I tried going without this product for a month when the first bottle ran out, and sadly, the redness started coming back within a cycle of weeks. I've got this on auto-delivery now, along with the cicalfate serum. I never want to be without it!
