This is obviously greatly impacting the stability, and I will need to purchase a replacement soon. For this price and lack of long-term durability, I would not buy again.

When it came it didn't exactly look blue to me. But I kept putting it together thinking maybe it was the lighting in the room I was assembling it in. I brought it to my craft room and lo and behold it is light purple. I looked at my order and sure enough it said light purple. Boo! I looked in my saved cart and the chair was gone. So I accepted it for an error. The next day I checked to see if I could return it. Thought I could, till I read that I would have to pay to return it. So I wrote the seller to tell them to ignore the return. And that was that. Till a couple days later I get an email from the seller asking if I would like a full refund or a replacement at no cost. I was like heck yeah send me the blue one. I was thrilled and I wanted to thank the seller for doing this without the return of the other chair. But I could not find a place to do that now. So here is where I will thank you. Thank you so much for doing this for me. You guys are AWESOME!. I love the chair and I love the blue color. I find it very comfortable, lite, easy to adjust, the size works great for me, and for the price the quality fits my needs. I do hope it lasts me for quite some time. Thanks again!
