Daniele Buetti zählt zu den wichtigsten Künstlern der letzten Jahre, die sich mit Lifestyle- und Medien-Codes befassen. Einem breiten Publikum bekannt geworden ist der 1956 geborene Schweizer durch seine Bearbeitung von Modeanzeigen, durch die Umformulierung des schönen Scheins, den Supermodels wie Claudia und Naomi, Giselle und Kate verkörpern: »Never enough of you« schrieb er den Körpern mit krakelig-martialischer Typografie auf den Leib und erfand damit eine künstlerische Form, welche die phantasmatische Wirkung der Massenkommunikation präzise auf den Punkt brachte. Oder er verklärte die Models zur »Nike«, ließ sie die Markenzeichen jener Produkte als geschwulstartige Kennungen auf der Haut spüren, für die sie Werbung machten. Wegen solch eindringlicher Sujets wurde Buetti auch als »neuer König des Pop« bezeichnet - eine Deutung, die zu kurz greift. Denn Buetti hat in den letzten zehn Jahren ein umfassendes Werk vorgelegt, das die Thematik unserer Waren- und Konsumgesellschaft in einem viel größeren Kontext diskutiert. Die vorliegende Publikation zeigt erstmals die performativen Ursprünge, versammelt die wichtigsten Installationen, Fotowände, Leuchtkästen und Videos und geht den Spuren von Buettis »Flügelkreuz«, seinem eigenen Markenzeichen aus den späten achtziger Jahren, nach. Great invention

Second pack of these and I love them. I used them mostly for computer cables in my home office and my work office so I did not constantly have to go digging for laptop power cords and adapters. They have a strong adhesive that is very durable, the installation was super easy, super functional and overall great value for the money. These would be versatile as well if you wanted to use them for say phone charging cables or similar cords that seem to always fall behind a shelf or something similar.

Wonderful for chargers

I was skeptical about ordering these, but I am so glad I did. They are little cord controllers and they have a lift up cover that is magnetic so you can easily take your cord out of the hole. They stick to what you put it on and I’ve had no problem with them coming off on wood or plastic. Glad I bought these.

Perfect to plug in and off the floor.

These are perfect for keeping the charging cords organized. I have difficulty reaching the floor when I need them. I work from home and need to charge my phone and laptop often. So far the adhesive is holding up. The magnet is strong enough and the cord is light weight and does not slip through the hole. I have usB and C cords. We use them at the side of bed for our cell phones. It’s on the side of our nightstand. Makes vacuuming easier to. The cord is off the floor. Overall happy with these. Worth the money.

Overall good

These work pretty well and adhere securely. I chose to stick on the underside lip on my nightstand in case it damages finish. I like that they pop open to remove cord when desired, although sometimes it opens when I pull on cord too hard. Overall, I think they are help and save me from rummaging around for my cord.
