Für viele Pferde und Ponys, sowie deren Besitzer und Reiter beginnt die Saison der stechenden Insekten jedes Jahr etwas früher und zieht sich teilweise bis in den Herbst. Mensch und Tier empfinden diese Zeit nicht nur als befreiend, da man sich vermehrt im Freien aufhält, sondern auch als herausfordernd, da viele lästige und stechende Insekten zur unangenehmen Plage werden können. Ein Fliegenspray muss her, aber welches? Und welches Spray eignet sich bei einem Ausritt für Reiter und Pferd? Die Antwort lautet das Stiefel Fliegenspray Flystop DEET in der 650 ml Sprühflasche!
Der Wirkstoff DEET wird als Repellent von der WHO empfohlen. Für die optimale Anwendung sollte das Flystop DEET Fliegenspray flächendeckend und möglichst lückenlos auf dem Pony oder Pferd angewendet werden. Durch die flüchtigen Eigenschaften des Wirkstoffs bildet sich eine dünne, abwehrende Duftwolke, die mehrere Stunden anhalten kann.
 
Wirkstoffe: 
N,N-Diethyl-m-toluamid (DEET) 100 g / kg; Eucalyptus citriodora Öl, hydratisiert, cyclisiert 3 g / kg
 
Anwendung: 
Aus ca. 25 cm Entfernung je nach Bedarf sparsam auf das Fell aufsprühen. Bei Ponys und Pferden, die das Sprühgeräusch nicht mögen, mit einem Lappen auftragen. Reiter tragen den Insektenschutz sparsam auf die Haut auf. Empfindliche Körperstellen (Augen, Ohren, Nüstern und Schleimhäute) aussparen. Spray zur Abwehr von Insekten mit DEET und Saltidin.

“Allergy-Friendly and Fresh—My New Favorite

First off, I have to say that I really do enjoy the variety of scents Mrs. Meyer’s comes out with—though not all of them are my cup of tea! I especially like their seasonal releases. So when I spotted this one, I figured it was worth a try. And honestly, it might be my new favorite scent. It’s pleasant and lightly uplifting without being overly floral, musky, or woodsy in strength — basically, nothing that triggers my or my husband’s allergies. It lasts long enough that can provide freshness for a couple of days in my mind without being so overly strong. I also appreciate that Mrs. Meyer’s promotes being vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic. Like most natural and smaller-batch products, it’s a bit pricier than the big-brand cleaners, but that’s something I can live with—especially when I catch it on sale. I purchased mine at a discounted price, so it was more in line with what I’d spend on the regular Mrs. Meyer’s line in a brick-and-mortar store. One thing I do fault Mrs Meyers on us their overall bottle design. I don't know how or why, but unless I have some magical gnomes running around my house at night, every single one of these odor room refresher bottles seem to slowly become unscrewed at the top and I can't tell you how many times I have tried to spray and have the bottle become disconnected from the sprayer. Who knows. Maybe it's me and I can't use the spray bottle correctly. So for me I started emptying the this is Meyers room refreshers into one of those continuous spray bottles. Which I think sprays much better than the original Mrs. Meyers bottle. I was just glad it didn't leak in the box on the way here. If I remember correctly it actually was taped down. Since my kiddos are nice enough not to spray cat urine everywhere and I’m not battling wet dog odors, I can’t say this works any better or worse for pet smell than other scents like Basil or Lemon Verbena. For me, it’s more about the fragrance than the heavy-duty pet odor control or enzymes. If I were strictly deciding based on price, I’d probably just wait for a sale or stick to my other favorite limited-edition scents—like Orange Clove or Mint.
