Zum 50. Jubiläum des legendären Pratone präsentierte Gufram 2021 eine neue, alltagstauglichere Variante dieses ikonischen Designobjekts: PRATONE FOREVER. Bezogen mit grünem Bouclestoff und in kompakteren Maßen gehalten, lässt sich das Sofa nun noch besser in moderne Wohnräume integrieren – ohne seinen provokanten Charakter zu verlieren.

Ursprünglich 1972 als radikale Gegenposition zum bürgerlichen Wohnstil entworfen, wurde Pratone schnell zum Manifest des italienischen Radical Designs. Das Vitra Design Museum zählt es zu den 100 bedeutendsten Werken der Designgeschichte. Gefertigt aus Polyurethanschaum, interpretiert das Sofa ein Stück überdimensionierter Wiese – eine verspielte, doch tiefgründige Hommage an Natur und Nonkonformität.
