Nach ihrer Heirat mit Daniel Spoerri war Vera Mercer Teil der Pariser Künstleravantgarde der frühen 1960er Jahre; sie porträtierte Marcel Duchamp und Robert Filliou, Niki de Saint-Phalle, Jean Tinguely und immer wieder Spoerri. Parallel zu diesen Porträts fotografierte sie auch die alten Pariser Markthallen kurz vor deren Abriss. Hier begegnete sie erstmals einem Thema, das sie seitdem beschäftigt: Nahrung wie Früchte und Gemüse, Fleisch und Fisch im ganzen Stück oder in Teilen - und das spätere Arrangement im heimischen Studio. Vera Mercer stellt sich mit ihren Blumen-, Früchte- und Tierstillleben jenseits zeitgenössischer Kunstmoden, eher lassen sich Bezüge zur Kunstgeschichte herstellen. Klassische Vanitasmotive wie Schädel oder halb heruntergebrannte Kerzen gemahnen - als memento mori - symbolhaft an die eigene Sterblichkeit.Shipping Notes

I love this bag. At first I didn’t think it would work for me because of the size and feel of the material but it’s actually pretty sturdy. The outside pockets hold my cell phone, beats earphone case, charger, and car keys perfectly. I carry my stethoscope, thermometer, O2 spot checker, etc, notebook, book, my purse, lotion, and wallet inside. The water bottle pocket on the side is deep and snug enough to fit a ninja travel cup. I bought the smaller size and as an overstuffer, it’s spacious & the zipper is flexible so it covers items that may stick out from the top a little. Great bag for nurses!

Very spacious

I was looking for a spacious bag to carry all of my school supplies and this one is perfect. It’s able to fit both of my large school books, a 5 subject notebook, multiple pocket folder, notecards box, pencil case and my laptop in an interior padded compartment. The padding is a little thin but none the less I didn’t realize it came with one so that was a bonus. It has 3 pockets inside & 3 deep pocket outside on each side of the bag plus the 2 mesh pockets. As you can see the mesh pocket fits my 40 oz tumbler. With all of my items this bag weighs 24lbs and so far so good the straps feel pretty sturdy/durable.
