The author is a teacher and on staff at Bob Jones University. That alone is enough for me to avoid this book knowing what BJU stands for, allows and teaches. Sanctification is a result of seeking Christ and emulating Him, not following what they deem to be godly rules and conduct. You change from the inside out, not outside in.
