Produktbeschreibung:

Die Metabo KGS 254 M Kappsäge ist Dank der hohen Schnittleistung der ideale Begleiter in jeder Werkstatt oder auch für Montagearbeiten. Dank des verhältnismäßig geringen Gewichts, sowie der ergonomischen Griffe und der Sägekopfsicherung ist die Kappsäge für den einhändigen Transport geeignet. Für besonders breite Werkstücke ist der Sägekopf mit einer Zugfunktion ausgestattet. Dank der Materialklemme lässt sich das Werkstück von oben oder von vorne sicher fixieren. Mithilfe des Tiefenanschlags ist die Kappsäge auch zum Nuten geeignet. Aufgrund dessen, das der Sägekopf nach links neigbar ist und einen zusätzlichem Winkelbereich für Hinterschnitte besitzt, lassen sich auch Gehrungsschnitte herstellen. Das aus Aluminiumdruckguss bestehende Gehäuse trotzt härtesten Ansprüchen. Der Sägeblattwechsel lässt sich dank der Spindelarretierung einfach und schnell durchführen. Es ist keine Demontage der Pendelschutzhaube erforderlich. Für die notwendige Sicht auf das Werkstück und die Erhaltung der Gesundheit des Anwenders, sorgt die Staubabsaugung mit einem integrierten Spänefangtrichter. Des Weiteren besitzt die KGS 254 M einen Schnittlinien Laser und eine LED Beleuchtung. Darüber hinaus besitzt die Kappsäge eine stufenlos ausziehbare Tischverbreiterungen, die auch zum Unterlegen langer Paneele oder Leisten abnehmbar ist. Die Einstellung gängiger Winkel über Rastpunkte ist schnell und präzise umsetzbar. Sämtliche Bedienelemente und Skalen, sind gut erreichbar und gut ablesbar. Metabo verbindet eine lange Tradition zu Werkzeugen aller Art, darüberhinaus ist Metabo Mitglied im CAS Konzern und besitzt somit eine breite Pallette an kompatiblen Geräten und Akkus anderer Hersteller.

Not perfect but a good pencil for a good price.
Not as user friendly as the original pencil and battery doesn’t seem to hold a charge very long. After about 4 hours of being charged it was down to 46%. That was intermittent use and non use, with about 3 hours actual use. To charge the original pencil I pulled off the end exposing the lightening connector and plugged it into the receptacle on my iPad. This requires a USB-C cable connection from either the charger or the iPad. Admittedly, it’s not that big a deal, but it feels like a step backwards from the original. The battery longevity is a little more irksome. The pencil is very easy to use, and I’m actually amazed at how the iPad is able to generate text when I write with it, even with my sometimes barely legible script. Much improved over the original. I can live with the minor irritations because it’s a good value for the price.
