Besonderheiten: Der Knockando 2010/2026 ist ein 15 Jahre alter Single Malt Whisky aus Schottland, speziell aus der Region Speyside. Dieser Whisky wurde aus erstbefüllten Oloroso Sherryfässern abgefüllt und gehört zur Cask Strength Collection von Signatory Vintage. Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 54,6% ist er in einer ansprechenden Metalldose verpackt. Zudem ist er ungefärbt und nicht kühlfiltriert, was die Reinheit und Tiefe der Aromen unterstreicht.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: In der Nase zeigen sich Intensive Aromen von reifen, getrockneten Früchten, dunkler Schokolade und süssen Gewürzen, begleitet von Sherry-Süsse und nussigen Noten.
  • Gaumen: Am Gaumen wirkt der Whisky vollmundig und samtig mit fruchtiger Süsse, Honig und dunklen Schokoladenaromen, untermalt von würzigen Holznoten.
  • Abgang: Der Abgang wirkt langanhaltend mit Gewürznoten, Zimt und fruchtigen Sherrynoten.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Der Knockando Whisky wird von Signatory Vintage abgefüllt, einem renommierten Hersteller, der 1988 von Andrew Symington gegründet wurde. Signatory Vintage legt Wert auf qualitativ hochwertige Abfüllungen und verfügt über ein umfangreiches Fasslager mit über 10.000 Fässern. Der Whisky wird in verschiedenen Serien angeboten, darunter die Cask Strength Collection, die für ihre intensiven Aromen bekannt ist. This pillow — after dialing in the right amount of shredded foam — has greatly helped my sore neck. Initially, I had to remove some foam. Then I gradually added foam until it reached optimum comfort and support. It is also CPAP-friendly — especially when I position my head near the pillow's edge. (I am a left-side sleeper.) I like the travel size because I use a bulky hugging pillow to ease stress on my shoulder and elbow. That makes my side of the bed feel cramped if using a larger head pillow. A smaller pillow is easy to flip end-to-end in the middle of the night. I have spent lots of money on pillows over the years, but this is the best I've ever had for relieving [1] neck pain and [2] CPAP mask seal problems. Very comfortable, supportive, and affordable. I did not notice any unpleasant smell — and I am usually sensitive to that kind of thing. Would highly recommend.
