Pieros kühner Schritt wurde durch einen großartigen Pinot Noir inspiriert, den er in New York probierte und der von einem alten argentinischen Weinberg stammte, der 1932 gepflanzt wurde. Überzeugt vom außergewöhnlichen Potenzial der Region, gelang es Piero, dieselbe Parzelle zu erwerben und bald darauf weitere Lagen mit Rebstöcken aus den Jahren 1955 und 1967 hinzuzufügen. Heute ist das Weingut für seine eleganten Pinots und Chardonnay aus alten Rebstöcken bekannt, die es in Zusammenarbeit mit dem renommierten burgundischen Winzer Jean-Marc Roulot erzeugt. Gemeinsam pfropften sie Chardonnay-Reben auf 40 Jahre alte Merlot-Stöcke, die auf einer wunderschönen, kalkhaltigen Parzelle gepflanzt sind, die sich ideal für die weiße Sorte eignet. Dieser Chardonnay, der an feinste weiße Burgunder erinnert, ist bemerkenswert komplex und nuanciert mit einer spürbaren Mineralität und hellen Noten von Obstbäumen und Zitrusfrüchten, die lange am Gaumen verweilen. Er ist vollmundig und großzügig mit einer hellen Säurestruktur, die für Harmonie und Ausgewogenheit im Abgang sorgt. Powerful for the presenter
Format: Paperback
My boss's boss recently told me that our organization's presentations are boring data dumps that make her wish she was somewhere other than there listening but not really hearing or caring about this slide and dreading the next. She suggested that since I was going to be doing a lot of presentations in the future I should avoid that method and do better presentations. I immediately sought advice from our best presenter and learned that his method came from his gut feelings about what worked better. He has good instincts but to codify what he explained I decided to buy a book to learn why his approach works. The closest book with an effective explanation I could find is "beyond bullet points". It captured and expanded on the instinct my new mentor explained so that I could now understand how to use the slides to supplement the story and how to interweave the data so the whole presentation is more meaningful and memorable. I recommend this book to anyone looking for more of an answer on how to improve their presentations and eliminate the data dump in bullet points.

Good purchase and superb seller.

Great for Presentation Education
Format: Paperback
It has been some time since I have utilized Beyond Bullet Points, but this is one text book that kept with me. The point of the book is to help a presenter get their point across to the audience through Powerpoint presentations, and the book does this well. I am sure there are editions other than this one at this point, and I would definitely recommend looking into them in order to keep up to date. Starting with this book is a great idea due to its simplicity.

This book will make a difference in your presentation.
Format: Paperback
If you rely on Powerpoint-like presentation in your work, get Cliff Atkinson's Beyond Bullet Points. I had determined that improving my company's presentations had potentially very high returns so I started poking around the net and Amazon for resources to help. At first, I struck out with books that were supposed to improve presentations, but ended up being guides on technically how to use Powerpoint. That was NOT what I was looking for.
Beyond Bullet Points is very different. It is a philosophy about creating presentations whose purpose is to communicate a story, not dump information. Frankly, it was not intuitive for me so I had to decide to just trust that it would work. When I was about ¾ finished, I started to really "feel" what I was doing. And, to my surprise, the most unlikely people really liked the result.
In a world where most business and how-to books are nothing more that restating what you already know (or, what you know isn't true), this one is an exception. I highly recommend it!
