Le Forban Sécurité Mer Taucheruhren ist eine französische Uhrenmarke, die bei vielen Uhrenfans etwas unter dem Radar fliegt; meiner Meinung zu Unrecht. Denn während sich die große Masse vor allem für den Schweizer Markt interessiert, geraten französische Uhren machmal aus dem Blickfeld. Ein Blick zu den Zeitmessern der Schweizer Nachbarn lohnt sich jedoch. Hier gibt es schließlich Marken wie Le Forban Sécurité Mer.

Das Unternehmen wurde das erste Mal im Jahr 1969 gegründet, ging in den 80er Jahren jedoch aufgrund der Quarzkrise insolvent. Erst 2019 wurde Le Forban Forban Sécurité Mer durch Jean Sebastien Coste erfolgreich wiederbelebt. Dies gelang Coste bereits 5 Jahre zuvor mit der Uhrenmarke Triton. Le Forban Forban Sécurité Mer sitzt in Paris.

"  Wer dem Charme der französischen Navy der 60er Jahre nicht widerstehen kann, ist hier genau richtig. Die La Malouine lebt diese Geschichte wieder neu. Tolle Verarbeitung und viele schöne Details. Man beachte auch die Rückseite! Eine der schönsten überhaupt! Da bleibt nur noch die Frage ob schwarzes oder blaues Zifferblatt und Armband... "

They come in a small plastic bag all squished and deformed so you have to wear them a few times before they take shape again. For the price it's a great buy for some generic work shoes or something, the bottom tread doesn't last long at all though if you're expecting them to last a long time as it will be gone in a week or two if you wear them frequently. Buy them if you don't feel like spending a lot of money on shoes but want a new pair cheap.
