Nase:
Die Nase des 2021 Hidden Treasures Nr. 1 Tokaj, feat. Gergö Fliep und Moric zeigt sich in der Nase alles andere als schwatzhaft. Mit etwas Luft erzählt er in ruhigem Ton von Zitrusfrüchten, Blüten und den Ölen der Schale, dazu kommen Austernschalen und dezent rauchige Noten im Obertonbereich. Zitronenmelisse, Kerbel und Borretsch komplettieren den Reigen.

Mund:
Mit frivol zitrischer Spitze im Antrunk eröffnet er Gaumen und zieht es durch bis zum salinen Finish: Vertikal mit ordentlichem Punch lässt er sofort den Speichel einschiessen, dass man sich schlichtweg durstig zecht an dieser Trouvaille - ein Teufelskreis! Am Zungensaum peitsch die feine Phenolik ordentlich ein und sorgt für zusätzlichen Trinkfluss bei dieser ohnehin rasanten Angelegenheit. Gradlinig, vorlaut und aufmüpfig, also eine runde Sache.

Zum Weingut:
Hidden Treasures ist ein Projekt von Roland Velich, Moric. Zusammen mit Partner Winzern aus Ungarn möchte er die Schätze Ungarns in die Weinwelt zurück bringen. Das Projekt Nummer 1 realisierte Velich im Tokaj Gebiet zusammen mit Gergö Fliep. Der reinsortige Furmint ist gewachsen auf vulkanischen Böden und wurde im großen Holz ausgebaut.
