Jahrhundert durch den heiligen Meinrad seinen Anfang nahm, ist für unzählige Menschen zum Segen geworden. Heute kann die Benediktinerabtei auf eine über 1000-jährige Geschichte zurückblicken. Päpste, Kaiser, Könige und Millionen Gläubige suchten die Pilgerstätte auf und erwiesen ihr mit Geschenken und Spenden ihre Reverenz. In dieser Publikation soll es daher nicht darum gehen, die Geschichte des Klosters und seiner Wallfahrt anhand von politischen oder wirtschaftlichen Überlieferungen zu erzählen, sondern vielmehr entlang der materiellen Überreste: So sprechen etwa die Ottonischen Kaiserurkunden, die Schwarze Madonna, aber auch zahlreiche Votivtafeln und Devotionalien für sich und legen Zeugnis ab von Hoffnungen und Wundern.Ausstellung: Schweizerisches Nationalmuseum, Zürich 16.9.2017–21.1.2018

Picks Up Quick!

Great napkins

I keep ordering these BOUNTY PAPER NAPKINS because their versatility, durability foldability appearance and size; these are all great attributes of these napkins. I don't use them for bathroom use but on occasion I do put water on a couple of them to cool my face off which is awesome because they don't tear with that much water as I put on them. The only thing I would suggest for BOUNTY to change is the roughness and thickness of the napkins. They're a little rough not so rough to where I can't stand them but if they were just a little bit softer, not much just a tad bit. Maybe also a little bit thicker. Besides that they're awesome and worth the money

These Amazon brand paper towels are great! They are the multi tear size, which is perfect for different uses. The price is good and they clean windows and glass wonderfully. Softness is so so, but if you don’t have an issue with that, then these are a great buy! I definitely recommend!
