Weinbeschreibung: Reife , reine, Pflaumenfrucht mit Anklängen von Mineralien, Rauch und Wildrosen. Trotz der duftenden, ätherischen Aromen ist der Wein breit, tanninhaltig und kraftvoll. Geeignet fuer jahrzehntelange Reifung.  Die Domaine Roumier bewirtschaftet 1,6 ha Bonnes-Mares, verteilt auf vier Parzellen. Es gibt eine Mischung aus weißem Mergel („terres blanches”) am oberen Ende des Hangs und rotem Lehm („terres rouges”). Der Großteil der Trauben wird als ganze Trauben vergoren, die Extraktion erfolgt schonend und der Anteil an neuem Holz ist moderat.
