Was bedeutet "Full Custom"?

Jedes Full Custom wird von Grund auf in Handarbeit von mir gefertigt. Nur die Wärmebehandlung wird aus Gründen der Präzision extern durchgeführt. Vom rohen Flachstahl bis hin zum fertigen Messer durchläuft jedes Stück einen intensiven, handwerklichen Prozess, bei dem jedes Detail sorgfältig ausgearbeitet wird. Hier liegt der Unterschied zu den "Production Foldern" wie dem Neutron Star, das maschinell in Serie produziert wird.

Mit den Full Customs kann ich meine Kreativität und meinen Schaffensdrang ganz natürlich ausleben. Nach jedem Tag in der Werkstatt komme ich müde und dreckig nach Hause, aber mit einer tiefen Zufriedenheit die ich bis jetzt nur beim Messerbau erfahren konnte. Erstmalig mache ich diese Messerkategorie öffentlich verfügbar und bin überzeugt, dass jeder Käufer begeistert sein wird.

 

Warn- und Sicherheitshinweis:
Beim Umgang mit Messern besteht ein erhöhtes Risiko für Schnittverletzungen, da scharfe Klingen leicht in Haut und Gewebe eindringen können. Unsachgemäße Handhabung oder zu starker Druck kann zum Abrutschen führen und Verletzungen verursachen. Messer sollten nicht ungesichert abgelegt werden, um Stürze zu vermeiden. Stumpfe Klingen erhöhen das Risiko zusätzlich, da mehr Kraft erforderlich ist und sie leichter abrutschen. Verwenden Sie Messer ausschließlich für ihren vorgesehenen Zweck, um Schäden und Unfälle zu vermeiden.

I looked at dozens of similar shelves before settling on this one. Finally have something to fill the awkward space above the toilet. It was a little tricky to install by myself but definitely manageable. The only thing that could have made this better is if a template was included to help with making sure screw holes are level and spaced properly but it was simple enough to make one. This set was a little more than others that I looked at but I think it looks great, is solid quality. Definitely work the extra few dollars.

quality matches cost + instructions unnecessarily tedious

The material is real wood but don't assume that means quality - it's still very cheap feeling, and very lightweight. But once installed they are quite stable, and they look great from afar. I got a darker colored one and the stain does come off very easily. One of the shelves had a huge manufacturer sticker on it and it took off the stain when I removed it, and a bit of the stain also came off when I wiped the shelves down with a wet cloth. It'll be dry dusting from now on, I suppose. Also, they did not fit snugly into the corner - when one side is pushed flush to the wall, it forces the other side to pull away from the wall a little bit. It wasn't a drastic space, maybe like 1/8th of an inch, but it is still something to note. I am fine with the cheap quality as they are, after all, pretty cheap, so I'd say they are worth exactly as much as they cost. Personally I am happy with the purchase - just thought I'd warn. Secondly - if you want to follow the instructions exactly, you will need two people unless you have inhuman agility. But I also think the instructions were a bit asinine and tedious. They want you to line up the LOOSE shelf and brackets with a leveler to mark where the brackets go on the wall, then put in the wall screws, hang the brackets on them, balance the shelf on the brackets to mark on the SHELF where the brackets will be attached, take the brackets off the wall to screw them into the shelf, then put the combined shelf-bracket unit once again on the wall screws and finally screw those in tight. In hindsight, you can just mark where the brackets should go on the SHELF (not wall), screw the brackets into the shelves, THEN level the shelf on the wall and screw the whole unit into the wall together. We were really baffled why the instructions didn't have us do that instead of spending extra time (and frustration) trying to juggle all the loose pieces and tools. But I'm not engineer-minded, nor have I ever installed corner shelves before, so maybe there would be some kind of issue with doing it that way that I can't predict.
